terraj wrote: Finally! Here's my improved audio for this video recording with instructions on how to merge the improved audio with the video:
Instructions (Windows): ---------------------------------------- 1) Download and extract the improved audio here: http://www.mediafire.com/?mnydtt0vy1cute3,3sszsbzwbvygw96 (The audio is a mix of TALC's audio & the video's audio) 2) Load tsMuxerR GUI (download here: http://www.videohelp.com/tools/tsMuxeR) 3) Follow the instructions in this screenshot: http://www.mediafire.com/view/?pjdf4k42fl0mobx
/FIN
Mac users: --------------- I don't know an equivalent of tsMuxerR GUI for Mac that works properly, but you can use MKVToolNix to achieve a similar effect (output will be in *.MKV, not *.TS). The steps to join the files should be almost similar to tsMuxer as the interface is quite similar (except "Join" in tsMuxer is called "Append" in MKVToolNix). MKVToolNix can be downloaded here: http://www.bunkus.org/videotools/mkvtoolnix/
Notes: --------- So the improved audio took far longer than I expected, due to 2 reasons: 1) For some weird reason, the audio by TALC is about 250-300ms longer than the audio in the video, so TALC's audio drifts off from the footage over time and gets very out-of-sync by the 2-hour mark. 2) While the TALC audio sounds great on headphones, due to the way the audio is distributed in the left & right audio channels, the sound doesn't translate too well on TV; the video's audio on the other hand sounds mostly ok on TV but really lacks dynamic range and bass, and is extremely thin on headphones.
Steps I took: ---------------- 1) Using Adobe Audition, I made cuts in between tracks to sync the TALC audio with the video's footage & audio. (Originally I tried to simply change the speed of the audio to match the footage but it resulted in a whole series of complications that I shall not go into here.) The audio transitions between the cuts are seamless (Audition has an auto 2ms crossover fade feature that ensures this.) No cuts were made during songs. 2) I boosted TALC's audio's mid to high frequencies using Audition's Multiband Compressor (see settings used here: http://www.mediafire.com/view/?een5ecpel5nhss2), as well as slightly balanced the audio channels using Amplify. Bass was slightly reduced. 3) Mixed the video's audio (-0.5dB) with TALC's audio (ensuring everything's in sync) to create an audio track that sounds pretty good both on TV and on headphones. 4) Exported to WAV > transcoded to AC3 using FFmpeg commandline.
Hope you like the result!
You really have a weird sense of humor, brilliant hd quality still doesn't make this casting guy a brilliant singer!
This comment seems out of place in a thread started by an obvious Adam fan in the spirit of sharing wonderful footage of a concert performed by Queen and Adam. I am sure that there are many threads in this forum where those types of views can be freely shared.
I have been made to feel very welcome in sharing this video and I find myself quite disconcerted to end my experience here on this note.
You are indeed very welcome to share anything related with Queen+Adam Lambert. Adam was excellent!
The public reaction to the mini tour was terrific, and that´s all that matters.

When I saw the name of this topic, I instantly thought this would be complete Hammersmith 1979... Disappointment.

Here's the revised version of the London audio which boosts the camera audio a bit (similar to what Marknow did for the blu-ray release, except this is using original sources), and improved the balance of the audio.
FLAC and AC3 (320kbps) versions here

Thanks for all in first place!, what a wonderful job you've made with this show filmed fully entired in HD, I remembered that Ale Solan recently wrote: madamimadam wrote:

So what happens once you've created the DVD file? How do we get it? Will you give us instructions? Create a new torrent? Newbie lost at sea, here.
That's right M, I'm gonna create a new thread with a torrent file and you'll download it from there ;)
So I was wondering if you, Ale, could make a .torrent of a DVD (bescuase you said that DVD players can't take HD files) and, of course, with the perfect audio mix (the original was really low), so when you have little time please share it here, all would be very grateful with you, cheers!

Hi guys,
Could anyone please help me by seeding this one? It's downloading but very very slowly as there are only a few seeders for this torrent.
Thanks in advance! :-)

I made a new audio track for this video using the Wardour audio uploaded here: http://www.queenzone.com/forums/1349770/announce-queen-and-adam-lambert-2012-07-14-london-flac.aspx
Here are the AC3 files that can be muxed with the video (archived in a 3-part RAR):
http://www.mediafire.com/folder/625bkxvsdkyun
The instructions on how to sync can be found in that folder.
You will need TS Muxer GUI for PC or at MKVToolNix for Mac
TS Muxer: http://www.videohelp.com/tools/tsMuxeR
MKVToolNix: http://www.bunkus.org/videotools/mkvtoolnix/downloads.html#macosx
I've also uploaded the FLAC version (4-part RAR) of the Wardour audio (adjusted to sync with the HD video) to that same folder above, so if anyone prefers to mux a PCM audio source, they can use the synced audio.
