Oh, and 18 downloads of the first upload, and only two people could be bothered to comment.

For me it's still not matched perfectly. It's nothing serious actually but I still can hear the difference between these two parts. Sorry for being pernickety about this ;-)

I'm not going to fiddle with it any more, Piotre, as I can't hear any difference, so it's purely guesswork on my part. Not being funny, but are you sure it's not just the different sounding instruments, creating a 'trick of the ear', so to speak? I've also played both of the piano parts, from the stems and from theDVD-A mix, side by side, and to my ears, they sound identical, and I can even get a phasing effect by playing one on top of the other.
Does the original ANATO version sound in tune to you? I have to admit, whenever I listen to Seven Seas Of Rhye, the opening power chord following the piano intro always sounds slightly 'out' to me, but I'd always just assumed it's the way we individually hear things.
Is there any software that you know of which will settle this for us once and for all? I know there's a pitch correction thing in Adobe Audition, but I've never worked out how to use it - lol!

The original ANATO version sounds in tune for me comparing it to the stems. I've checked and compared the sources in Adobe Audition. It would be great to find some software which tells it us graphicaly.
If you can't hear any difference it is likely that like you said it's the way we individually hear things. Maybe you're right. There might be too slight difference...

I respect your comments, Piotre, and I certainly don't disbelieve what you're hearing, but as I can't hear it myself, and have found no way to evidence or compare the versions graphically, I think we'll just have to agree to differ on it. :)
By the way, the part where Freddie sings "Talk like a big business tycoon" is from the DVD-A mix, up to the "b" of "business". Can you hear any pitch discrepancy there?

[/QUOTE] No, I can't hear anything and it proves to me that these are too slight differences (if there is, in that particular spot when Freddie sings it ) :-) I even didn't know that there was any split so the more appreciation to you! :-)

It's all in the edit points ;)

these are just my own observations in comparison to queen's original version
love the little "pan" at end of first guitar notes before second piano
the drums "come alive"
the vocals sound nastier, more agressive - more apt for the intended threatening tone of the lyric
love "shark"
whole thing sounds more "in your face"
and the finish sounds tidier...strike that...more professional
Mr Fickle, you did it again....great job

Always admired your works! This one is certainly no exception. I liked the first version of this song that you did, and this one is even more remarkable! Keep up the great work!
