What would you say is Freddie's most passionate performance? Where you felt he was really giving it his all and was really feeling the emotion of the song.
I remember thinking he delivered Death On Two Legs in the early days with a lot of anger, but one which pops into my head is 'Somebody To Love' at MK, Peter Freestone mentioned that his partner at the time bit his hand the night before...which may explain why he puts in one hell of a performance, as he's venting his raw emotions live on stage.

Live Aid, hands down.
Those are some good honourable mentions above, but let's not forget that a billion people were watching that day in 1985. Mercury had to work extra hard. He wasn't preaching to the converted - he was converting.

And in return, you get some of his best live vocals!
Another performance that ranks high for passionate vocals, is the Death On Two Legs from Oakland--he belts the hell out of that song with an aggressive delivery (which fits perfectly with the song's backstory)!

I don't know if it's a record, but it's not far from it!

nah, was a 7-incher, with a little hole at the centre.....
Do you have a copy? ;)
That's one hot cut.
I always thought his line ..."Start again with somebody new...." from Montreal version of Save Me was quite nice
