This song in the magic tour is so non sense, he put the place of princes of the universe in this tour, the reason, i don't know...

Haha, where did that come from?

It seems like we're trying to recreate the recent thread that was dedicated to MotP.
These are the days of our lives They've flown in the swiftness of time.

Because Princes of the Universe was way too demanding vocally, most likely.

well, as several fans have noted over the years, the band did really f*ck it up concerning the songs and the tracklisting on the "Works" project...the final 9 songs is a product that coulda/shoulda been better - "Tear it Up" is b-side quality - if they wanted sth rockier Brian should have insisted on "I Go Crazy" making the cut
*"man on the prowl" almost was a single, promo copies exist (irish pressing esp.) - no idea about a video for "Tear it Up" - wouldn't bet on it

If memory serves me right, TGIC and MOTP were released as a double-A side single in the UK.

no, only TGIC was realesed alone in single, and MOTP and KPTOW ara both the b sides

That's correct, so every song from the album was either an a side or b side, I like motp, it was 1984 and it was different to the new wave stuff that was everywhere, fair play to them.

To be honest, hearing Tear It Up in '84 was great. It sounded amazing. Not sure it's aged well though.

As to the tracks chosen for The Works IIRC it's quite a short album. Could've added tracks and not needed to subtract any.
