see, there's a bit of an issue here...if people can use the inetrnet and long into queenzone to ask a "silly" question, then they can much more easily either
a, use a search on this site before asking it, or
b, use google search

The issue with that is that this is a discussion forum, not a google portal. If everybody did what you suggest the value of forums like this would plummet exponentially. I never knew about the anecdote that the op described, and I didn't immediately know what ER referred to either. And I still wouldn't had he or she simply googled it and had a conversation with him/herself. To me it's a very destructive practice to repeatedly attack entire classes of posts as silly or stupid (googleable questions, old book reviews, etc) based on knowledge or attitudes highly specific to you ("I already know that" or "I don't like your book review"). Is the potentially chilling effect on new conversations really less important than your 'right' to perpetually (and disproportionately) stomp on people's thoughts, motives, interests etc? I'd say no.

point of fact: if you google "queen er" the very first hit you get explains all...so anyone anywhere could've found this out with little difficulty

-_- brENsKi, sometimes you say really interesting and informative things, and other times you just go and get all defensive about stuff. I'm not saying this to try to "put you in your place," or be "holier than you," I'm just saying your comments like that whenever someone makes a valid criticism on how you sometimes attack people gets really annoying.
Besides, like GratefulFan said earlier, if notimeforlosers would have just Googled the answer, I never would and would never have learned this. Now I do know it and, though it probably won't make much difference on my life, it's nice to know.
Again, I'm not saying I am some perfect human being or something, and neither is GratefulFan, and I'm not trying to put you in you're place, I'm just saying your comments can sometimes be a little annoying.
