There were no cameras in the Hammersmith Apollo on the first night. If they want to release a Hammersmith concert it should be from 1975 or 1979 - in my humble opinion.[/QUOTE]
I couldn't agree more.

I would buy a DVD of someone pouring a bottle of warm piss over Lambert's face.

Maybe we can suggest that to Brian.

Haha, I'd buy that too.

Xmas at the Hammersmith Odeon 1975/1979 I want to see more than Hammersmith Apollo with Lambert. there was no official information that concert Queen + Adam Lambert at Hammersmith Apollo would be released.
I've got the power to love to live I can't say it ain't right

If I remember it right there was a note hanging outside the venue on the second night saying that the show was being recorded...

Yes, three shows were recorded but no one was planning to release them.

Actually,we're more likely to see the concert at the Rainbow Theatre 1974, for example, than a concert with pop singer Adam Lambert.

I'm still waiting for Brian's 1998 Albert Hall gig which was filmed for release. Why they can't put them online for us to buy is beyond me

That's what I heard too. QPL recorded the Hammersmith shows for the "archives" and there are no current plans to release them.

That's fantastic! Incredible! Record gigs is good! They saw the light at the end of the tunel!

If only they did the same thing in the Freddie era...

This totally untrue. A lot of people there did enjoy the concerts. Many old fans even thought that QAL was better than QPR because it was closer to the original Queen concerts. Lots of AL fans were also there and they did enjoy the concerts - at least the screaming was deafening :-) I have seen both outfits live on stage and I preferred the QPR project by light years but that was a minority view in the Hammersmith Apollo as far as I can judge.
I do not want any google ads here.
