Good god, release the Queen &Adam Lambert shows, what a disgrace,as nobody who was their enjoyed the shows and Paul Rodgers was so much better !!!
This totally untrue. A lot of people there did enjoy the concerts. Many old fans even thought that QAL was better than QPR because it was closer to the original Queen concerts. Lots of AL fans were also there and they did enjoy the concerts - at least the screaming was deafening :-) I have seen both outfits live on stage and I preferred the QPR project by light years but that was a minority view in the Hammersmith Apollo as far as I can judge.
I agree 100% with YV. Yes, perhaps the aproach of the Q+AL shows was much closer to the original Queen shows, but I really prefered QPR, despite ending up really bored with the lack of felixibility on the setlists ! But anyway it all felt pretty much honest to me. And they certainly reached high-quality moments, musically. "Bad Company", the song, will never stop enjoying it, for instance.

If there is a God in the sky, this won't happen.

I'm sure there will eventually be a DVD release. Adam was remarkable, as always, and the crowd's reaction each night was evidence of how much they enjoyed each gig.

Looking forward to when Brian and Roger eventually do a gig or two with Adam in the US, as well.

Well I was there at the concert & hope there is a DVD, all you,s with the negative comments are not fit to be true queen fans, how many times must people say, it's not about the front man it's about putting their music out there and a new generation hearing some fantastically written music Freddie is gone, get over it, there will never be another to replace him, but people wanna hear their music so why all the negatives? Paul rogers was shit with them, did I go see? Hell yeah I did, did I buy the album? Course I did, why? Cos I like the band & their sound. On his own or with bad company/free Paul is awesome but he done a good stint fronting the band. Shame on all you negative people, go cull some badgers for fun whilst ur at it, nobs

Then hopefully in a couple of years they can start to record again as a group. Oh my god! I am SO excited!

Crack will do that. Not gonna happen. "restart queen" without Freddie? Freddie IS Queen.

Sadly I have to agree. New recordings simply wouldn't come up to scratch. But having someone like Martell singing might make concerts sound a bit more like the original band than PR and AL do.

Beyond that, I wouldn't mind seeing another Brian guitar solo album. Tracks like Love Token, Resurrection, The Business and Cyborg were well worth the investment, in my opinion. Roger's Unblinking Eye single augers well if he were able to maintain that standard on his next solo album too. It will be interesting to hear his retake of Dear Mr Murdoch as well, although I reckon he should update the lyrics to take account of....um...more recent events.

I must be part of the 0.0000000000000000001% of longtime Queen fans that enjoyed the Q+AL experiment.
I would love to see Q+AL live or on an official release but I have to admit that I would find kind of weird to be surrounded by annoying girls in a Q+AL gig... Good thing there are no AL fans here in my country... Bad thing they havent played here since '81...
Queen: Roger Taylor, Mike Grose, Freddie Mercury, Brian May.
