If you own the Freddie box you already have the "Great Pretender" book

Same pictures, same text. Too bad it was never marked as a re-release of the Freddie box (minus CDs/DVDs) which makes it not only a rip off but a bold attempt to actually cheat the fans off their money. To be on the safe side, the publishers reshuffled the pictures but did not even bother to change the description to each of the photos.

Well that's a bit cheap. I've already bought it online, good thing I haven't been a Queen fan long enough to have the Freddie Box anyway.

yeah i found this out the hard way when it was delivered on Saturday... a shame really!

Still the interview CD was alright, but not worth the £20!

Just received my copy... Really disappointed!!! I'm really tempted to return it.

Queen Productions repackaging content previously released... Who would've expected that..!?

The difference is that the repackage is released under a new name pretending that you get something previously not available. The difference is
- different cover and book format
- additional radio interview CD
- re-shuffled photos
- different product name (!!)

In previous releases it was alway evident with product was recycled, "enhanced" or "deluxed" but this book does not show anywhere that we are sold a previous product under a different name.

My copy will arrive tomorrow. I was looking forward to it up to this moment. Why am I so stupid that I ALWAYS buy their crap which I bought before ? :-(
