Vote for Brian May!! THE FINAL Greatest Guitarist of All Time Poll

There is nothing logical in any part of this poll thing. There have been far better guitarists than the final two left behind in early rounds, all based on the amount of fans of each guitarist who've seen it. It's just pointless and a poor representation.

Here is the closest thing to an accurate list of the best guitarists, bassists, drummers, everything, even by genre.  There is a very specific criteria, and is incredibly well thought out.

There are 20 rock guitarists in the top 100, and ONE rock guitarist in the top 20.  Much needed perspective for those who think any rock player is more important than guys like Chet Atkins.  Chet's musical vocabulary was far beyond anyone near rock and roll.  With the possible exception of Frank Zappa.

Which makes me wonder why Zappa is omitted from this list.  He should be in there somewhere, even though he was a far greater composer than a guitarist.  And he was a damn fine guitarist.  Holiday In Berlin and Willie The Pimp are pure genius.  He creates more in a spontaneous few minutes than most players could imagine in their entire careers.  And the latter is over a single chord.
