Coolio - I do indeed have a great surround av receiver and speaker set up, so when my pre-order arrives I will be happy!

Cheers

got mine today from amazon.ca and of course one of the cd's is loose . Sick and tired of these cases. Same problem with Wembley 25th dvd cd set.

Hi

Does anyone know if the US Blu Ray release is region locked?

Thanks

It's going for about 24 quid on Amazon now. Seems reasonable.

Aaaaaannnnddddd it's another blasted Digi-pack.
Seriously, have these people never heard of PLASTIC DVD cases that hold multiple discs?????

Yeah - it's the same kind of packaging as the Queen Live At Wembley Stadium 25th Anniversary Edition - but it feels even more flimsy - almost in that gray area where thick paper meets cardboard. The photos on the inside and back of the set are rubbish too - blurry pictures of lights and almost a silhouette (but not on a wall!) of Freddie The photo under the discs is okay (that yellow leisure suit is very 80's though!) I got mine from Amazon and they didn't package it very well so it is a bit disappointing.

My copy arrived yesterday. Budapest has lossy DTS-HD High Resolution 96/24  (as on picture above  - there is no mistake on the cover)
DTS-HD HR - bit rates up to 6.0 Mbit/s
DTS-MA - bit rates up to 24.5 Mbit/s

No complaints from me. Just for the record.

finally got it today.
have only flicked through it so far, but my first impression is this;

as far as picture, and even more so with sound, it's superior to both Wembleys. great to have it at the correct speed. such a shame it's not complete though.
the band is tight, and the audio mix features all instruments superbly.

one mistake I've spotted though; early on in One Vision, there is a shot of Roger doing a fill when the audio clearly has him holding a steady beat

as far as the documentary; good stuff. some unseen clips. it's weird to listen to Jim Beach about Queen's future and think about how rigth he was...

The cover and Blu-Ray menu says stereo track is in 48k/24b, but it's not. It's just 48k/16b.

Dear god ... the complete Budapest audio is being released for the first time. Can't we ever be happy here? It's a very fair price for a three disc package.
True. I know that times are tight right now, but this looks like a nice package and is a very reasonable price. It's an attitude like such that put me out of my physical store when I was trading a couple of years back and I had everything cheaper than the nearest competitors. Even stuff at £1 people wanted reductions on. WTF? Everyone wants everything for free these days!

Just watching the documentary, and in one interview about setlists, John says;

'We have such a vast catalogue that we do actually forget about some of our older songs'.

Never a truer word spoken!!

Received my copy.. Like it, but.. To me it looks like the sound is not in sync with the video.

Specially one vision is well off.

THANK YOU !!! I will admit that I don't have my version yet, so I was watching a downloaded version. Yes, the sound on my mkv is WELL OFF. I thought it's a problem with my copy, that something went wrong during the BD ripping, but you say that's REALLY how the OFFICIAL PRODUCT is ?

Yep.

And i am thinking it was my bluray disc from the pack with the cd's from amazon.de. And nobody esle was mentionong it so...

It is constantly off. Very annoying to watch imo.

And i like to watch it. The show is more like i saw it in 86 with lights and all. And Freddie.. Well i just love watching him sing so.. Dissappointed i am.

the brazillian version sucks, here, we have only the dvd, nor cd, nor blu ray

I think it wasn't even released in Brazil at all, at least until now you can't find the dvd or BD anywhere.
Sony Music Brazil treats Queen's catalog as shit, the best thing for us brazilian fans would be having this release by Eagle Music.
