Hit and miss. Roger Moore sucked. I like the Daniel Craig versions though. And of course Bond GIRLS are awesome, especially Christmas Jones (Denise Richards) ;)

Hit and miss indeed. Though I don't think *all* Roger Moore movies sucked - I quite liked Live and Let Die - (and not all Connery-ones were brilliant - I still think Diamonds Are Forever is mediocre at best). I'm pretty curious about Skyfall, I have to admit.

I quite like Live and Let Die due to the theme tune and Jane Seymour. But the actual film is a load of shit.

Daniel Craig couldn't act his way out of a custard maze.

"Why would he want to?"

That's a fair point!

Saw this the other day and meant to post it. A couple of slideshows that might be of interest.

The first Bond movie I saw was Die Another Day and I couldn't understand what was so great about it. Then I gave the franchise another chance and watched one of the Connery flicks and that did not work for me either. So for me, James Bond means "no, thanks".

Daniel Craig is a great Bond IMO. No disrespect to Pierce Brosnan, who I still think is a neat actor, but the franchise because such a cliche of itself far more under Brosnan. I have to say that the films since Craig have given Bond a darker twist to his character.

I hadn't seen any bond films before, and i wasn't sure what to expect with Skyfall -- cos sometimes that kind of thing is all hype (i.e. paranormal activity -- i heard so much about the paranormals, and was terrified watching them, but ended up bored out of my wits). I enjoyed Skyfall a lot, but it was a bit too long. Really good though! I want to watch some of the old ones, but maybe not ALL of them lol

I have never really understood the hype surrounding James Bond. I really can't stand the franchise at all. My girlfriend's wee boy absolutely loves it (he's 11) and has all the films on DVD. I told him it was absolute bullocks - I mean, really? He's falling off a cliff and his boots turn into rockets and his watch turns into a parachute. F the hell off lol.
