You could make the argument that Montserrat doesn't want to give up music (which would have been the same with Freddie), so he shouldn't have suggested that she would want to quit just to get healthy. If that's what you're saying, it's really only a little thoughtless. Not exactly mean.

The point is... Who is he to say she needs to give up performing because she has had minor stroke? What Moog stated is called implicit ageism and it is just plain stupid. Let the lady recover in peace and let her decide what she can and can't do.

The article did state that she still has all of her faculties and is booked until 2016... I say good on her.

I wish Montserrat all the best in this difficult time of her life, and i hope that she can get a full recovery and do what she loves to do...sing!
