Anyway, tsskiller totally lucked out in the concerts he picked to go to! Crossing fingers that he gets a good recording![/QUOTE]
I was just told it was once again a successful recording, he was about 20 ft. from the stage. He will be home in 2 hours from now or so, after which we'll get working on it immediately.

Fantastic! Someone just posted that QE performed Bo Rhap in its entirety. If so, this will be the first time Marc has sang Bo Rhap from beginning to end with QE. (Last year, Jeff Scott Soto did the rock section.) So jealous of tsskiller. LOL

Yes, that is correct, all 6 sang the intro. The reason being of course, as the pictures already prove, the venue was much too small to fit in the video screens, so they didn't really have a choice :-)

The master recording is being uploaded as we speak. TSS is piping a playback of Boh Rhap through Mumble at the moment, and all I can say is....considering they had to adapt it down from a 9-piece to a 6-piece band's interpretation, it sounds fucking AMAZING!! :D
Stay posted...

So...what a night this was. Sound was very tight and the smaller stage brought the best out of everyone. I'm very glad they performed Bo Rhap in full...I was not expecting that at all. Of course it took a long time to get home, but it was worth it...heh.

An update about the Westbury recording: It will be up within a few hours. We just realized a technical error with Reaper mistakenly downsampling the master recording to 48/24 and re-sampling back up to 96/24 when exporting to FLAC. Not to worry though, the master recording itself was not affected, we are working on re-encoding the masters to FLAC to resend my way. Using foobar2000 this time, since we've also realized Reaper has a weird habit of inserting very small silent gaps between files which makes for unnecessary extra work.
Again, stay posted.

I wasn't planning to stay up all night, but you guys are tempting me. :-P Can't wait to hear Bo Rhap.

Anytime soon? :)

Not to worry Adam, you can get your rest right now. I can't give an exact ETA right now, but I'm sure you'll be happily waking up to a glorious Boh Rhap sure enough :)
And coming later this week, very much overdue indeed: Detroit 2012 & Hamilton 2013

This is my first bittorent download...am a virgin...lol. Tired of being left out of the good stuff here and would contribute if I could!
Does it normally take fo EVAH to download? Taking a long time. Maybe I'm doin something wrong? I'm using uTorrent. The faq page didn't show when I clicked on the link, otherwise I would have studied it and frankly I did read it before but alas...I'm not super saavy on these things.....

It took me all day to download. I'm not a torrent expert but it seemed like my download started off fast then the seeder dropped out and my download slowed to a crawl. But I got there eventually! I'm seeding now but it doesn't look like there's any upload activity going on.
I saved the torrent file then opened it in uTorrent and the download started magically. :-)
