Yep it's a Seiko automatic divers watch circa 1980/82. Very similar to this:

thanks for the info, anyway hard to believe he's wearing a Seiko :-(

Good watches, especially the Japan made one's. Even Bond wore a Seiko in the 70s & 80s!

Brian can wear whatever watches he likes, and you can wear whatever watches you like.
I wonder how he would react if he found out people were talking about a wristwatch he wore decades ago.

It's one thing to ask about the type of watch he's wearing (which I don't mind), but criticizing his choice of personal accessory wear?? Geez! SMH.

sorry for chosing the wrong forum and not knowing what's serious and what's general. haven't posted here before so I didn't think about it...
this was a serious question to me as I'm seriously interested in wristwatches. anybody who's into automatic watches will easily understand my antipathy towards the name "Seiko". Btw this was in no way meant to offend anybody. I do not give a f... which kind of wristwatch you wear. Remeber the interview with Jackie Stewart talking about John's "dreamcar". How could this 2nd class racer criticize his preference for Swedish cars? My comment was nothing but pure sarcasm (I did not understand this strange discussion about GB recently but I well understand his comments about some narrow-minded people here in this forum)
thanks for your gratuitous contributions!

With regards to the comment about John Deacon's car, I think it is not a criticism on his preference for Swedish cars. I think it is a let-down in expectations as he expected rock stars to go for sports cars or luxury cars and not a family sedan type of cars.
