which is exactly the same expectation that a rock star should wear a luxury sports watch and not a rubbish Japanese Seiko, isn't it?

Wildly speculative, but I wonder if there could be any symbolic connection with the band's strong relationship with Japan and their Japanese fans? A loyalty to a pedestrian but meaningful watch/brand would be not be unusual for Brian I don't think.

If I had known that I would be mobbed by w...s like you I would have read the subheading I promise!
And if he wore a half million dollar watch a la Rafa Nadal he'd be obnoxious, and an out of touch rock start posing as a man of the people (and animals). Damned if you do...
oh yes if he did so people would realize that they make millions be re-re-releasing the same stuff again and again... forgot about brENsKi and all the other brainiacs amongst the Queen community....
On a whim just now did a quick Google of "Brian May" and Seiko and found a surprising number of conversations about it out there. I guess it is a serious enough matter for watch enthusiasts.

Guys, where can I get some good watches?
Hello! Watches have long been one of the best ways to complement your look and highlight your sense of style. Even as a teenager, I began to love watches, because it was they that allowed me to be confident in myself in any situation.
My love for watches has not subsided even now, only I started to wear more expensive watches, such as Patek Philippe watches. If you also want them you should go here
I own a collection of more than twenty watches and almost all of them I bought on this site and for such a long time they still work perfectly!
