Otherwise, the melody is phrased after the chords. Some harmony trouble might arise at times – it’s Queen! – but still, why should it be a killer? It’s within a reach of a human to simplify some parts and make a little faster the whole thing and then what you got is rockabilly :-)

You'd lose. There's no rockabilly involved, and I really don't see any way you could fake it without making it sound like a four-minute digital glitch.

Sure it’s been involved. The whole song is like a bad relationship, the vocal tries to carry on like “save me! I’m rock’n’roll!” and the arrangement responds “and you’re screwed”. I’m just saying, it’s not the verdict :-)

@brENsKi I agree it sounds like Diana Ross. Whether it's "piss poor" or not depends on your POV. It's not outstanding - to me - because it' doesn't develop much from DR. But there is SOME development. It certainly doesn't sound like "Stray Cat Strut". :-)
