Seriously? Where the heck do you live if you get disapproving looks for your colour?! Are you sure it's colour based? I used to be part of a tiny religious group in Ireland who wear veils and long dresses, and i used to get stared at all the time (although i never really noticed it, i only noticed if it was really bad or if i was with people who were dressed normally. And then i noticed cos they would point it out). But do people seriously try to say that black slaves were taken care of properly across the board???!!! That's nuts!

Seriously though, my ex boyfriend does happen to look like Freddie. He is told all of the time he looks like him and, he is 5'9, same height and build. He just doesn't have the teeth. You wouldn't want him to sing though! eeeeeegadz, disaster..but funny and he used to belt out Queen songs all of the time.

Maybe you should have got him to mime something. You Take My Breath Away for instance. :-)
