I want it all was number 2 here in the Netherlands in '89 and A kind of magic went to number 4 in '86. Both weren't #1 hits in the UK. I haven't checked other countries but i'm sure some other people here know.

Note from the English Wikipedia entry of a kind of Magic:
Queen's compilations The Platinum Collection, Classic Queen, and Greatest Hits II all make an unsubstantiated claim that the song reached number-one in 35 countries around the world,[2] but to date, there is no known territory where the song did reach the top position.

As for my country, I am not sure if there was an official chart in Brazil back in the 80s, but both songs were played a lot and at least AKOM was released as a single. Singles were not common at all back then over here, so it might as well have been the best seller at some point.

I've always been surprised at how few No.1s Queen had in the UK, considering how many hit singles they had overall, and their enormous popularity. I mean, really, BoRhap and Innuendo are their only genuine No.1s. Under Pressure got there obviously, but without Bowie, that may not have happened.

In the netherlands,Queen had 6 number one hits. that is pretty cool i think. the last one was i want to break free in 1984.

They didn't actually release that many singles in the UK in the 1970s.
Queen -- one single
Queen II -- one single
SHA -- 3 singles
ANATO -- 2 singles
ADATR -- 3 singles
NotW -- 2 singles
Jazz -- 2 singles
It was only in the 1980s when they went a bit mad and became a "singles" band.
