But mightn't it be coming out anytime soon, uh?
We have to remember that they went to Universal and they´re still dealing with the re-releases. But i´m pretty shure that Hammy 75 is lined up and that Universal and QP are aware of the fans requests for 70´s concerts and will indulge us with great products in the future.
Remember that for Universal is all about capitalizing on the name Queen, so i´m pretty shure that we can expect great products in the next years.

I hope so.

Apologies if I'm missing something, but when was the last time we got 'great' products?
The FM Boxset?

It was out in November last year, I think.

The FM box was stunning. wasn't GB in charge of that? ;)
I've loved the live dvds (but how they haven't managed to put the QPR dvds on blu ray is beyond me....), and even though the bonus EPs were way too short, they had alot of good stuff on them.
People complain about re-releases, but that's natural when they change record companies. getting wembley night 1 was a HUGE deal for me anyways.
also; I see complaining about the upcoming FM tribute re-re release. I don't get that. of course they would want to have the product on the best possible medium? studio albums have been on LP, MC, CD and download.....and whatever format comes next, the catalouge will be released there too...
(having said that - where are the QPR blu rays?!)

Gotta agree here.

So, no sound check then in the official release. Still no real idea why anyone might think it was filmed or exists at all.
Holly2003 wrote: Well done. You've posted a picture of a tape from 1977.
Now, back to my point, why would they record the soundcheck when they couldn't even be bothered to record the encore? The former was never going to be aired so why record it?
Now I hope you're right. For that to be the case, you would have to be informed by someone working in the archives or seen it with your own eyes. So far, you haven't claimed either of these things. Or you might be making it up, as many attention-seekers have done here in the past. I take the sensible option of not believing everything I read on Queenzone. But again, if you are right, it's a very interesting find. We will find out soon enough I suppose.
