I hope its exactly as it says - we'll all be proved right and can consign Queen's history to that of myth and legend. And happily move on in the knowledge that it'll hopefully prompt people with bigger and better rarities to get them out there to the wider collecting community as retribution.

Nonsense.
They showed unseen footage in the Days documentary and it looked perfectly fine.
No nonsense. The additional footage is a couple of generations higher compared to the 52 minute edit. All is there for sure, but when they patch all the remaining footage back in the quality will go up and down. This was a big point for the band to decide what to do. To release the best possible quality , or a patch with various qualitied, or the higher generation in it's complete
form. When this is truley a 60 minute release it will be the first option.

And what do the other 8 mins contain? You've mentioned only 52 mins, but there above it said 60 mins. Mind explaining? :-)
Let's hope for a photostill track haha. I really don't know !! Could be a 8 minute copyrightdisclaimer :-)
But seriously... No idea.

Who the hell are you......? Ghost of GB? If you are right this would be a true dissapointment. An edited Budapest show and now again an edited (Rainbow) show. What a bummer!

I would be willing to be it's a bootleg, like the recent Beatles and Kate Bush bootlegs (among others) masquerading as official releases on Amazon.co.uk.

Eagle vision tv is a television distribution company, this has nothing to do with the DVD and will probably just be an edited tv only version.
Garbage have a concert listed on there with run times of 60 & 90 mins, the DVD release will run at almost 120 mins.
I'd love to know where you get your info ghostwithasmile

BAD SEED is correct : this is just a sneak preview.
Until now there is nothing sure in what format Rainbow will be released !!
I am 100% sure the release of the DVD/CD format won't happen in Spring !! Because of : see the line above : there is nothing sure about a format.
And about the remaining footage in lower qaulity : higher generation copies : this is correct !
It is for the band , QPL to decide what to do, format, release date etc.etc.

Hammy was delayed because of the fact the band thought it was to short to release it as a standalone release. The show runs for 60 minutes without the encores.
Though a very exciting find happened in the archives : they still lack the 2 encore tracks on video : SSOR & SWAFIB , but they found the complete soundcheck on video ! This was found after the DVD should be released !
