Poignant in that this is one of those that may never have existed but for the looming irrevocable loss of the full band. Brian has said he wrote it in a mood of deep melancholy on an evening dominated by thoughts that the end for Freddie was going to be coming very soon. And indeed he passed away within a day or two of that session.
