Ban me if you want but the way you speak in the second post in this thread? Reminiscent of the way the band treat the fans. Our money put the band where it is now. Our adoration got the mansions, the rewards, the multi million pound bank balances.
And yes, we got some wonderful moments in return. And we will ever be grateful.
But now we are talking about a band who thinks putting a few tracks on an EP makes a "deluxe" edition. And then releases yet another Magic era Cd and DVD.
Remember the love and attention given to the WONDERFUL Freddie box set? Where is that now? All you and the band care about now is making another few 0's on the bank balance - and making as much money out of us as possible.
And when someone tried to give us genuine fans something new - you go after them like a rabid Rottweiler.
GB - I don't expect you to actually CARE, but I have never ever felt so disillusioned with a band as I do with Queen. What happened? That bond between band and fans. That attention to detail? That effort to provide something special?
I sometimes wish I could turn off my 35 years of fandom, but I can't.

Saw Q+PR twice when they were close enough to drive to.

well....I have all queen concerts which were released officially on DVD - Wembley 86, Budapest 86, Montreal 81, Bowl, ROTCH, Ukraine. All "deluxe" CD's. But why do I should buy all these things again? I want to buy something new - and pay for it. Rainbow, Earls Court, Hammy's...whatever. But tell me one reason why we won't get any of this (probably anytime)?
In last 10 years, only Bowl was a concert, which we couldn't see any time before - on VHS or DVD (Montreal/WWRY originally).
And the quality of booklets and covers is quite poor in some cases.
But I'm not silly, I'm not first complaining/wondering/not understanding person in this topic..I don't expect any reply nor explanation. But thanks for any reply, if you would have time :)
