Strange title for solo collection, IMHO

Huh? Nice title overall.

A solo collection? like the FM boxset from 2000? what exactly kind of tracks?

From what has been reported in drips and drabs - RT has been scouring the archives for tracks for The Lot. Whether he decides to use them is another matter.
Expect only a barebones release...Then you won't be disappointed.
But It definitely sounds like a box set of his albums rather than a compilation with a title like that.
The questions?
a. Is it actually a box set? It seems that way but who knows.
b. Is it simply RT's solo or does it include The Cross?
c. Will Rog be convinced to use some archive tracks as enticers...

It won't be The Cross as the record deal will likely be different to his solo material.
I'd prefer a separate collection for The Cross as they were entirely their own band.

I am in agreement of a sorts, but the rights may have reverted back to him by this time...that's what makes it a possibility (note - I don't know this to be true...just speculation)

I'll bet it will be a 1 or 2 cd collection with RT and TC stuff and just to annoy us it will ie just feat I Wanna Testify but not Turn On The TV. Or an edited version of the Strange Frontier extended mix.

the cross were not really their own band they used to play rt solo and queen songs live too.

the title: The Lot - is self-explanatory...but for those not "in the know"...Roger's new album is a concept piece with songs covering such wide-ranging topics as "town centre parking", "auctions" "vast quantities" and "a biblical character whose wife's skin seasoned the family's meals for decades after her demise"
:-)

are you serious? queen did "covers" live for their entire career. the cross made three of their own albums. they were a band in their own right. artists who form side projects nearly always do some of their previous material.

Shove It is actually a solo RT effort recorded with a little help from Spike Edney but released as the first The Cross album. The Cross as a band has only two albums. That's why the difference between Shove It and two following albums is so hudge.
