isn´t it strange no official word has been said for this release?
and, well, it ain´t a mere release ..... it´s a new studio album and a huge compilation boxset, due for October ... and no official details confirmed yet?
hmmmmmm ....

I guess that by "October" they meant "October 2014".

Mmmm....I'm guessing you've not seen the massive official press release about it then?!?

Hate to be pedantic, but it's not 100% official until it's been actually put out through, no pun intended, actual official channels (QueenOnline, record company, QPL, etc.)
Only thing we know for sure is that the '4CD' compilation won't be all compromised of unreleased rarities, as confirmed by GT.

I expect now that this has been discussed here, the archive team have suddenly realised that they've missed some different mixes and have got to revisit everything at the last minute!!

Can I say that they seem a bit stupid, eh?

What is your source?
GT · Member since
There is no source, some people on here are just nasty, ignorant and rude, and on occasion all three.
Nobody knows what we do as a team to put these sets together and how much work, time and effort are put into a project like this to make it as good as it can be. There are many restraints and obstacles that appear over the many months before a set like this even gets approval.

I understand

Any news about the possible tracklist of this lot? (Mainly the 4 cd set)
GT · Member since
It will be forthcoming.

I genuinely wasn't being nasty or intentionally rude with my slightly tongue in cheek remark GT - apologies for any offence taken. I had however asked specific questions to you on this thread regarding a track (The different mix of Love Lies Bleeding), and a simple response just to say 'yes, we're aware of the difference in this mix' on that question wouldn't have broken any trade secrets I'm sure.
To your quote of "Nobody knows what we do as a team to put these sets together .." - well, plenty of us do actually ask for this exact info, and some details about the process, issues, hurdles etc.. of this would be lapped up, but sadly is never given, so to keep it very much behind closed doors and then complain about it is a bit of 'poor form' really.
(If I did require a 'source' however, the fact that such a glaring error happened with a track being incorrectly identified/named on the Freddie Box Set, which I believe was later repeated, would be a good one to use!!)

Various Dutch websites are now allowing pre-orders for both Fun On Earth and The Lot. Releasedates change, from October 25th to the first week of November. The Lot costs around 130 euros.
