This is a quick and dirty transfer from vinyl to my PC. Which means no editing or improvements. The only thing I've done is raised the output level with 9 db.

Released: 1983
Vinyl color: Dark Green
Venue: Hankyu Nishinomiya Stadium
Date: 24-10-1982
City: Nishinomiya
Country: Japan
Lineage: LP > Technics SL-BL3 Turntable > PC > Nero Wave Editor > FLAC

Tracklist:
Side A:
- Intro: Flash Gordon's Theme
- The Hero
- We Will Rock You (Fast)
- Action This Day
- Somebody To Love
- Calling All Girls

Side B:
- Now I'm Here
- Put Out The Fire
- Dragon Attack
- Now I'm Here (Reprise)
- Love Of My Life
- Save Me

Side C:
- Get Down Make Love
- Guitar Solo
- Body Language
- Under Pressure
- Fat Bottomed Girls

Side D:
- Crazy Little Thing Called Love
- Spread Your Wings (Improvisation)
- Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting
- Bohemian Rhapsody
- Tie Your Mother Down
- Another One Bites The Dust
- Jailhouse Rock (Incl. Whole Lotta Shakin')
- We Are The Champions
- God Save The Queen

As I said no editing or improvements....so feel free to make your own version. Hopefully someone here can do this with all the available sources and create the finale mix of this show.

To be honest I've done an improvement of Side A for myself (click & crackle removed / speed changed) with Nero Wave Editor and Audacity and the result is satisfactory...but I think that there are some people here arround on the zone who can do a much better job than me!

Thanks Nordico !

It's definitely better than most versions, but still not quite as good as ShortSharkSock's copy heard here:

Judging by the waveform it looks like it's similar to the Get Down re-releases from 1993, so I have to wonder if his LP is indeed from a different pressing or if the gear used for the transfer really does make that much of a difference.. ?

I can assure you my copy is absolute not from a 1993 release. It was one of the first vinyl bootlegs I've bought in the eightees...
We have to wait for till ShorSharkSock's share his complete copy here....with the artwork.

I definitely wasn't insinuating that, just pointing out the similarity.

I think there are more versions of this LP than any of us realize !

Don't know what happens, but this is what I wanted to post:

The gear used for a vinyl transfer indeed makes much of a difference. Imagine, there are people that pay over 10.000 dollars for a turntable, tone arm, cartridge and tube amplifiers. They wouldn't do so if it didn't make a difference. But rest assured, I've not spend so much on my sound system. (Not even close!)

Also a comment on the first or second press issue. There seems to be a general feeling that 'first press' records are superior to later pressings. Theoretical this might be right, but in common practice not. If the first stamper that's taken from the mother is worn out after more than 10.000 copy's, a new stamper would be made from the mother. This is than called 'second press', but the first pressings of this second press are most likely a lot better than the last few of the first press.

In case of this bootleg, it also possible that there never was a second press, and the same stamper is used again for more copies.

Since I bought my copy in the late eighties (it was already used) and it has a lighter green color, I think it was pressed after the dark green ones. The artwork and labels are exactly the same as the ones Nordico shares here.

I know that all lighter green and other colors are assumed to be from 1993, but that is certainly not true.

I think that sounds pretty accurate. Really looking forward to hearing your version in its entirety.
