When so many already have received fun on earth it's very disappointing that we don't have ONE proper review on the forum yet.

First listen for me was "this is boooooring". After a couple of listens it starts to grow though, but it's definitely a quite slow, laid back album. One or two more up-tempo tracks would've benefitted the overall albumflow I think. And dropping the live/rehearsal of Say It's Not True, which sticks out like a sore thumb.

Totally agree with Pim.
I just wrote to another friend about how this album is growing on me.
Musically it's very very good.
I am listening to the album now for the 4th time and it has finally landed for me.
After the first 4 tracks I was suddenly thinking, omg this is musically very good. The songs are indeed laidback but Roger is grown up now, with still his fun showing off in I Am The Drummer.
I skip Say It's Not True. I've heard too many versions of it through the years and this is not my favorite one. (the first one was very touching and meaningful)
So... well done mr. Taylor.

Yes(!), The Lot (and the album) is on Spotify, I like it! Looking forward to come home from work and have a listen or two.
Has anyone seen anything about an LP release of the album?

Just ordered my CD/DVD version of The Lot from Canadian Amazon for $142 Canadian dollars plus postage. Now the wait starts in earnest!

I wish I was more interested in RT's solo stuff, but the problem is I find his music a little dull/boring, and his lyrics are often a tad cringe-worthy. I enjoy Freddie and Brian's solo stuff, but in general I don't when it comes to Rogers. Shove It was alright though.

I heard the album late last night ... thought it was quite nice, and I'm looking forward to hear it again tonight. "Up" is my favourite after one hearing...

I think Roger did quite a good job on the Lyrics this
time!
Overall Fun on Earth is what i expected from Roger,
I think there is just too much slow stuff, I think
Quality Street and Fight Club are really boring.
I believe that I don't care would have been a Hit for
an artist like Robbie Williams or Michael Bouble.
Quite a pity that there is no promotion done...
And I still don't understand why Sunny Day is the 'single'.
