I have 2 friends who don't like Queen and won't even give them a chance. They are into scream, country and a bunch of other obscure music that no one really knows or listens to. What should I do, should I physically force them to listen to Queen?

No, I don't think so! They must decide self what they can listen what they can't listen.

Friends will be friends and it doesn't matter what everyone of us likes to listen.

And who hates Queen and tells you that you're an idiot if you're listening them or something like that, he's just not your friend!

What anyone with mental age over five would do: realise not everyone's got to like the same things.

May be you're right but friends must understand, respect those music what you're listen to.
They haven't right push on you and say what a f**k music you're listening to.

you're talking rubbish. there is no written rule that "friends must respect your music" - good friends don't care what each other likes...and even engage in banter/piss-take and ridicule at each others tastes - because friends can, and because friends are not fucking stepfords.
as for your last comment - there was nothing in the OP that suggested that was the case...so where do you get off implying such crap...in fact - if you read properly - you'll see it was actually the OP seeking approval with indoctrinating his friends
if anything: the OPs comment is ALL that is wrong with some queen fans - how f*cking condescending and arrogant

for starters, who says no one listens to country ? i love queen but i also like (some) country
as for "should i physically force them" - f*cking jeez-h-christ!!!! they're not forcing you are they...so back off with the superiority

Tie your friends into a chair and force Queen upon them.

Brenski, I listen to a bit of country myself. But only really Johnny Cash and some of Bruce Springsteen's more modern day stuff. I know these country artists mean well with what they're trying to say, but the music isn't my style. And I got the odd notion that they don't even want to give Queen a spin.

So fucking what? Why should you care?
It does bug me a bit when people say they don't like Queen when they haven't even heard anything from Greatest Hits, let alone an actual full album, but that's their problem. You can recommend Queen to them, but their listening habits are up to them. You can still be friends. Like brENsKi said, you can use your differing music tastes to have bit of a laugh on each other.

Whoa whoa whoa, what the hell is wrong with listening to music that no one else really knows or listens to? First of all: nothing is wrong with that at all. Second of all, you probably enjoy listening to a lot of Queen's deep cuts that few people have heard of, which makes you just like your friends. Like I said, so fucking what?

MY 2 friends and I do have a bit of a laugh at eachother. Infact, when I was hanging out with them last Thursday, they were struggling to find a gift to give for their cousin's baby for the baby shower. Yes my friends are sisters. So half-jokingly I suggested they by the kid Queen's Greatest Hits CD. The joking part was the whole thing if them not liking Queen. The serious part was coz music nowadays just about sucks and is unlistenable. Sorry if this offends anyone but I do NOT like rap, R&B, or hip-hop or ANYTHING of the sort. Kids these days need to be exposed to when music was great. Your lucky if any of this generation remembers Billy Joel who was like the coolest guy in the 70's and early 80's. Incase any of you are wondering, I'm 21. I'm often looked upon as a "unique individual" for liking artists like Bad Company, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel etc. And teaching myself all that guitar.
