The chorus of WE WILL ROCK YOU
was first featured on the Progressive Rock epic "Supper's Ready" by Genesis.
It can be heard chanted by children on a section of the epic named, "[II. The Guaranteed Eternal Sanctuary Man]
[II. The Guaranteed Eternal Sanctuary Man]
I know a farmer who looks after the farm.
With water clear, he cares for all his harvest.
I know a fireman who looks after the fire.
You - can't you see he's fooled you all.
Yes - he's here again, can't you see he's fooled you all.
Share his peace,
Sign the lease.
He's a supersonic scientist,
He's the guaranteed eternal sanctuary man.
Look, look into my mouth he cries,
And all the children lost down many paths,
I bet my life you'll walk inside
Hand in hand,
Gland in gland
With a spoonful of miracle,
He's the guaranteed eternal sanctuary man.
We will rock you, rock you little snake,
We will keep you snug and warm.
When heard , the reference is CLEARLY in it's reference, foreshadowing the Queen Song that accompanies WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS.
Here listen and be astonished!

Queen opened for Genesis when Queen just barely started out. Both bands were "discovered" by producer John Anthony and worked at Trident Studios
That puts pay to the myth that Queen only ever supported Mott The Hoople before becoming a headline act.
here is a 1973 concert of Genesis
doing "Supper's Ready" with Peter Gabriel wearing his flower outfit'
I wonder, is this the concert Queen supported them at? The concert was at Shepperton in 1973

Ben Whishaw could portray Peter Gabriel accurately, his renowned speaking voice is very like Gabriel's , and he looks the same body type/shape, as evidenced on the above video.
Leave Freddie alone, Ben, you will never do him justice, not in a billion light years!
Roger Taylor wrote the linear notes FOR the remastered version of the album that the 23 minute epic, "Supper's Ready", is from, that album is titled "FOXTROT"

so every song ever written that has the same four words in it all come from the same origins? what utter crap
you f**king moron!!!!
even if you had a point - which you don't then perhaps you'd care to examine the lines in "Supper's ready" more closely...because they are derived from the old Christmas carol/nursery rhyme that goes like this:
Little Jesus, sweetly sleep, do not stir;
We will lend a coat of fur,
We will rock you, rock you, rock you,
We will rock you, rock you, rock you:
See the fur to keep you warm,
Snugly round your tiny form.
Mary's little baby, sleep, sweetly sleep,
Sleep in comfort, slumber deep;
We will rock you, rock you, rock you,
We will rock you, rock you, rock you:
We will serve you all we can,
Darling, darling little man.

The song makes every sense
But why don't you tell this rocknorolllover
that such rudeness shall not be allowed on this forum?
Why do allow you him speak to people like this?
it is outrageous!
Is this your form of debate?
vicious insults?
is that the kind of behaviour you think worthy of a forum like this?

same goes for you!
what kind of person are you to call someone that?
who do you think you are to use that kind of language towards me?
it is outrageous!
you both should be ashamed of yourselves!
that is not how you hold a debate or conversation by calling some a fucking moron
did you not learn ANY MANNERS?
Do me the courtesy of speaking to me with respect and a civil tongue
or please do not respond to my posts if all you are going to do is behave in such a immature and appalling manner.

Any hint when during this twenty three epic is this part of the song you want us to hear?! I do wish that Queen would get back to recording and doing long epics such as this too!

Brian may opening track on bttl (the dark) parts of the nursery rhyme mentioned earlier! God this forum is a serious vipers nest!

Yes we know these things by reading the posts earlier but when in the 23 minute song does this occur? Lol.

Just listen to the song and find it yourself, sheesh.

It must not be that important. It can't be taken seriously when you just hand over something that is going to take close to half an hour. You are either lying about it or do not know yourself where in the song it is.

Sometimes I come on here, hoping that its not too bad. I'm always left disappointed unfortunately!

So, you either learn to lower your expectations or post something of great fascination to yourself. I chose the latter, always.
