I cannot find the information concerning the original contract signed in 2011. It was for something like seventy million U.S. dollars over a ten year period but I cannot remember the exact details. It was always strange to me how it seemed as if none of the fans cared what those two facts were.

I just hope that this will also mean new studio l.p.s as Queen +, a new line-up with fresh young members, and new solo studio l.p.s with tours amongst the other Queen projects and tours as well!!! Ow!!!

I wonder why this had to be signed now and was not included initially. I guess some thing or things changed, hmm?

Thank you for the attempt of information MickeyParise but like most articles on the subject it does not tell how many years the original contract was for and its value. It is possible that it might have been on the official QueenOnLine website that it was told on a discussion board but who knows how to find that now?

Queen has had ambitious plans for a few decades now, but none of them have materialised.
Why would this time be any different?

I would imagine this deal has been signed with view to a rise in interest when the Freddie biopic is released, also this possible new album with Fred, I can foresee a WWRY movie at some stage and a single or album with Adam Lambert, then archive DVD' s, all that will take us some years down the line and top up John's pension fund : )

yes....new releases of Rogers masterpieces Fun on Earth, ..new rerelease of the lot...including the little mistakes,......and yes.....we will rock you, wembley, at the bowl....and the complete catalogue from Queen 1 till the Cosmos rocks...oh my god.....yes...maybe a release with Adam Lambert....or maybe a fantastic Return of the Champions...!! .....oops almost forgot the Rio recordings...!!
