Thought it would be nice to see if anyone's a particular song in mind that they think would have been better if queen had performed it. (And don't just say all songs would have been better).
For me I always think they could have done "vienna" by ultravox with a queen twist like a brian solo instead of the keyboard solo . And "empty rooms" by gary moore but with brian on vocals. Any suggestions?

Calling occupations of interplanetary craft by KLAATU. I could just imagine a mixture of Freddie and brians vocals as well as brians guitar solo.

You know it's strange - I've always felt Vienna by Ultravox would have been ideal, too. Awesome as it is already!

^Just to have Freddie`s voice on it ...superb :)

Rainbow's "I Surrender" would have been good if Queen performed it, especially to have Freddie's vocals & Brian's Guitar on it.

I still lament that they didn't get the Rocky 3 commission, as brilliant as eye of the tiger was, Queen would've been fantastic for this.
Sly had them marked out after Another one bites the dust was released, but things moved no further.

Dream On by Aerosmith. The first time I heard it I was around 1989 just before the Miracle came out and I actually thought it was Queen

A Queen version of the Sweet's Ballroom Blitz, that would have sound like monster to me....

Queen could have done an awesome version of Led Zeppelin's 'Immigrant Song' Fred on main vocals and Roger doing Robert Plant's high notes aaah! as their voices are quite similar and raspy. The live version in Berlin in '86' with Freddie doing the Aaah! bits sounded like an impersonation of one his cats I am sorry to say.

I think the "abbey road" medley could be nice. Golden Slumbers/Carry that weigth/The end.

Actually its harder to think of songs that they could have done in the 70s I guess its because they really wernt like anyone else in the 70s
Its much more easy to imagine queen in the 80s performing your suggestions.
