Some great choices there.
I didn't expect to see the Abbey Road medley in there. That would have certainly worked!

While we're at it, throw in a little "I Want You (She's so heavy)" and I'm sold.

I always thought that Kansas "Carry on my wayward son" would be a perfect Queen song.
Another one that comes to mind is the suberb Scorpions "Still Loving you"

Thunder - Until my dying day
Led Zepellin - Kashmir
Muse - United States of Eurasia

Speaking of Thunder: what about the superb Low Life in High Place. Thunder's version is an absolute stunning version. Curious what Brian will do, can do with the guitarparts....

Life on mars by David Bowie or The long and winding road with road with a proper bass player called John Deacon you don´t have to hide with a wall of sound. ;)

It's odd, but I nearly posted a topic which was the inverse of this, about modern names in music covering the Queen songs that would've suited their sound best. Anywho, this got my mental cogs going, and I would have loved to see the following songs being covered by the band: Eagles' Hotel California, Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here (Roger on vocal), Fleetwood Mac's Little Lies, Dusty Springfield's I Close My Eyes and Count to Ten, and Tom Jones' Not Responsible (Brian on vocal).
