after some comparison, the next logical step is to share the transfer from the vinyl with the same title published in 1986
another step towards the definitive version of this concert
BIG thanks to Davide Traversi the head of the italian queen fan club for sharing his transfer of his copy of the LP!

Thank you, so is this the currently best version? The funny thing is that LOML appears to be longer than on the CD rip :-)

might be a speed issue? for a def. version I would not perform a click filter/repair as this usually has some kind of impact esp. on the higher frequencies...
music actually sounds amazing on this lp version but it has way too much hiss over all which is very annoying when listening to quiet tracks like Love of my life, Who wants... or In the lap of the Gods over headphones, so lot's of space left to improve for a def. version in my mind. Would be much more interesting if we had the source that was used for this bootleg...

It's only because the overall volume is a bit higher. I normalized the CD version and the amount of hiss is identical.
I doubt we'll ever hear anything that's better than this LP. Even with the bit of hiss in the quieter moments, it is marvelous.
Thanks, bootLuca !

well, the lineage might be radio station reel tape > perhaps audio tape > bootleg, we don't know which gen tape was used and low budget vinyl productions cause a lot of hiss so it's more than likely that somewhere a slightly better sounding version of this source is collecting dust...

it seems a bit ungrateful :-(

Sorry, this was not meant to be ungrateful in any way but I do not like hissy live recordings. If I find hiss I ask myself where it comes from and if there might be another source without that. Hiss usually occurs in copy processes so I have the right to assume the original source is free from hiss and a hissy source is more likely a copy (of a copy of a copy...). Even if you think it's ungrateful. This is not your baby, it's an illigeal live release so don't feel attacked if anybody criticizes the content. I doubt the German radio station SWF3 recorded this concert in that quality, not even in the 80s. I'm sorry if you feel offended by my comments but if you don't recognize the hiss on this recording you maybe should upgrade your home stereo or your headphones? And maybe you should start again discussing more about Queen and not comment every statement here. That's really pain in the ass

unfortunately this has several cuts,
for instance, its missing Dayyy- ohh, also there is a cut after pressure and before dust, also in crazy little thing called love(a bit of the begining).
