This sounds interesting - what exactly do you mean by "original tv broadcast"? You have the 1975 Japanese TV broadcast or something else? Or is it just the short Swedish TV re-broadcast of S&D?
It's the 1975 Japanese Tv broadcast uncompressed find on QueenHub on the dvd "RARE LIVE APPEAREANCES-RAINBOW MARCH 31ST 74 AND OTHERS" with video remastered by me & audio taken from GinjaNinja wonderful remastered version.

In the meantime if anyone of you would like to help me with the research of a good version of this -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jEIsnw5YuFs (it's the one with Freddie on the red jacket not the other I've posted in my first upload) it would be really great ;)
I know it was posted a long time ago here on queenzone but since I've changed my old pc I've lost lots of old files...
I am pretty sure I have "somewhere" excellent copies of both performances together with the intros and crappy quality footage of the press conference and some backstage interviews. I hope I'll be able to find the footage somewhere
That would be really great ;) maybe with your excellent copies and my second night video remaster we can make the definitive Sanremo dvd, I'm sure everyone here on queenzone likes the idea. Thanks for your help, I appreciate that :)

'The Miracle Express' is slightly horizontally streched, I think. Source is SP's 'Rockumentary', right?
'Innuendo EPK' sounds really nice here.
Thanks :)

I once heard about Swerdish TV broadcast of 'TME' with quality about HQ that was shared on QueenHub - is there anybody who still have it and can reupload?

Thanks Raffy, but I do have to ask (and risk sound ungrateful and negative), but why aren't they mpeg2? They were originally broadcast as interlaced pictures and so far as I know mpeg2 is still the only way to keep the interlacing.

Also, what exactly is your source material?
You're profile says you are in Italy so your TV format is PAL at 25fps, yet these are clearly NTSC frame sized and 30fps.

My way of thinking is that you always keep the output format the same as the input so you reduce any conversions artefacts and issues.

Hi, source for this material is mostly Queenhub shared videos (except for the material I've posted on this dvd -> http://www.queenzone.com/forums/1378240/announce-rare-videos-from-raffys-personal-vhs-archive-dvd-torrent.aspx?page=1 originally taken from my old vhs collection).
I've used avidemux to remaster the videos and cubase for the audio, the output file I've chosen was mkv because:
- MKV is a container format that supports various codecs, including H.264, VC-1, AC3, DTS, etc. The compatibility of MKV format makes it possible to keep original video or audio compression format (video codec);
- MKV is open and free. No one holds patents or licenses and anyone can implement it freely. As a result MKV format is widely supported by media players.

Raffy, thanks for all your uploads, they really nice, but why you doesn't keep material in its original size and crop borders? MKV is good container, I agree, but MPG is better for DVD autoring and/or using in another remaster process.
