Good idea -- should probably start with this one:

"Adam Lambert American Idol Season 8 - All Perfomances + Judges Reaction!!!"

This is one of my all-time favorites; Adam singing A Change is Gonna Come on AI. Watch how the two guitarists playing with him keep watching Adam with disbelief. It's an amazing performance of an amazing song.

I'm sorry. I've seen some random 10 minutes of the first half, but I can't listen to him. I hate his screeching. Seriously HATE it. I can't really understand how can somebody TOLERATE it, and obviously there are people who LIKE it which is quite a shock.

This version of Mad World (Tears for Fears) was a big moment for Adam during AI Season 8 - perhaps the biggest moment of the whole season and all contestants.  I'm also going to attach the Mad World version he did with Cyndi Lauper below it - Cyndi's still got it and sounds amazing.

Adam and Cyndi Lauper do Mad World at the NY charity event:

People have different taste and different ears - no problem.  I'm just glad Brian and Roger like it, and of course the arenas are filling up.  As long as there are enough ears that support the project, it's all good with me.

More covers rather than the music from his albums. Some wonder why he is known as a cover singer. LOL.
I like Mad World with Cyndi Lauper. I was hoping something would have happened after that.

what's more shocking is that there are bona fide Queen fans that are supporting this debacle. The guy has range but awful tone

Adam and Queen decided to do an arena tour in North American over 19 dates. Those are almost all sold out, and the demand is so high they've added 5 more arena dates. Just a few things you missed that happened after the Adam + Cyndi collaboration. Poor karaoke cover kid!

Don't get me wrong. I have a deep respect to Adam's voice and his range, I seriously do. But I hate his high tones

Slash advised him to work more in his lower range for bigger impact, and since then he has, although I think he's most comfortable with his upper range, and goes there often.  Here's the audio of a bonus track on his Trespassing album where he moves through a wide range, but is largely on the lower end:

It wasn't a regular track, but it is a favorite among many fans.

He's just bland like so many other pop singers. He doesn't have a distinctive unmistakable tone. The only time he stands out is when he goes into his high register and that's a ghastly sound. This guy does not have what it takes to sustain a solo career. He's just a pop poseur with a short shelf life. Five years from now he'll be a footnote

According to you anyway. Losing your crystal ball status by not bringing that up.

Oh I'm positive he'll do more television etc.  And probably musical theatre, as well as releasing his solo material.  I won't be surprised if Queen collaborates on a track for Adam's album, nor will I be surprised if they have an official DVD made of this summer's tour.  I'll be a bit surprised if they do an album together, but I don't think it's beyond the realm of possibility.  But you brought up what he has done, which is verifiable, not what he will do, which is speculation, hence my list.   Maybe both of that is exactly it.
The end justifies the means, for me. I know it's going to be my last time seeing Brian and Roger, more than likely. I have to take advantage of that, no matter who the singer happens to be. I'm just hoping his tone isn't quite as cringeworthy live. Maybe when I am in the moment, it won't seem as bad.
