More covers rather than the music from his albums. Some wonder why he is known as a cover singer. LOL.
I like Mad World with Cyndi Lauper. I was hoping something would have happened after that.

Um, a few small things did happen after that:

1. Adam put out his era 2 album - a Billboard #1 album..
2. Adam collaborated with Nile Rogers and made the Forbes list for the 3rd year in a row, racking up an income of $12.5 million.
3. Adam performed at the EMAs with Queen, and they did a 6-concert follow-up in Eastern Europe and London.
4. Adam wrote with and sang for Avicii, and now it looks like that track is about to become a single, and is on a global commercial.
5. Adam got a guest starring role on Glee to critical media acclaim.
6. Adam began writing his era 3 album with Max Martin and co. - should release later this year.
7. Adam and Queen decided to do an arena tour in North American over 19 dates. Those are almost all sold out, and the demand is so high they've added 5 more arena dates.

Just a few things you missed that happened after the Adam + Cyndi collaboration. Poor karaoke cover kid!
I know all that, well except for the money bit, I don't follow how much money he makes, or what he wears, eats, is seen with, etc etc.
Don't forget he may appear on another Ryan Murphy TV show. According to you anyway. Losing your crystal ball status by not bringing that up.

Oh I'm positive he'll do more television etc.  And probably musical theatre, as well as releasing his solo material.  I won't be surprised if Queen collaborates on a track for Adam's album, nor will I be surprised if they have an official DVD made of this summer's tour.  I'll be a bit surprised if they do an album together, but I don't think it's beyond the realm of possibility.  But you brought up what he has done, which is verifiable, not what he will do, which is speculation, hence my list.   Maybe both of that is exactly it.

The last I want to see is AL on any Queen album. I think that would be distasteful.
I think it would be something else entirely if the will be a DVD of a show, or Brian and Roger on AL's solo album.
He may do many things, but watch the bitterness that will happen once Q+AL is over. It's already happened with Avicii, because a single wasn't released in time for many AL fans.

Adam Lambert is slightly less evil than Hitler. Slightly.

How's that for positive?

Adam Lambert is SHIT. If you are in the states go to see the KISS/Def Leppard tour instead. Paul Rodgers was great, but Lambert is an abomination and I cannot see what BM and RT are doing. Personally, Id like to have seen either Justin Hawkins, Matt Bellamy or Jeff Scott Soto on vocals.

Jeff Scott Soto is the only realistic option there. I wouldn't have minded that.

I do love Matt and Justin, though.

That would be physically impossible for icy. In fact I sort of enjoy her whining - it's entertaining that she's so out of tune with Queen and sad because of it.

My son has tickets for KISS/Def Leppard--he never misses Def Leppard. But he's also going to see QAL--TWICE! I don't think any of those three that you mentioned can sing what Adam can sing in the Queen catalogue.

He has a high range, but it has also been said that he can sing every note on the guitar from low to high! Have you heard Axl Rose and Robert Plant in their heyday and how high THEY sang?

How can it be the only realistic option when it's never going to happen, though?

Jeff Scott Soto, Justin Hawkins and Matt Bellamy are all big Queen fans and would just be guesting as AL is who let's face it is totally not in the same league as either of these three guys. I really don't see what BM and RT see in AL, he is the very C-LEBRITY they sang about with PR... oh the irony of it.

I'm just meaning that Jeff Scott Soto, I'm sure, would've wanted to tour with Brian and Roger. The other 2 wouldn't have been feasible options.

Matt Bellamy and Queen on the same tour might be just too much excitement for me to handle, anyway. ;-)

I saw Jeff Scott Soto in the original QE show that was touring in the USA in 2012. He is a great singer, but I question if he, like Paul Rodgers, is capable of singing ALL of the songs. They are both more in the gritty-type rock range. JSS went to see one of the Hammersmith QAL shows and spoke very highly of it and especially of Adam. I think Brian and Roger like that Adam can sing both the rock numbers and the ballads in a very capable way.

"capable"? Perhaps but these songs just don't sound right with this Liza Lamberace clown singing. He's showy with his voice but he has no soul
