And then forgot!! So the list of artists that made an exception for Adam on AI or Glee is: KISS Queen Slash Led Zeppelin Justin Hawkins
Just for AL? What about the others who sang, or does that not matter? I already know, all AL, always.
Are those others the topic of this thread? I didn't think so. Nice try, icy, but keep trolling.
Believe me mithril, you cant be assed to talk about other music unless you think it hurts your AL cause. Good thing you aren't a wannabe spokesperson for other artists. I'll throw it back to you, you may think you know everything about AL, but you know frig all about other music. Not even Queen's.

FROLICKING PUPPY KICKERS? lol.... that's the funniest thing I've heard all week. Thank you.

I haven't read something so bizarre since Micrówave disappeared.

I "get" the super fans enthusiasm, and it's cute. Just a bit TOO way too overwhelming and it's even becoming insulting.

Of course it's a controversial decision to tour with Lambert among fans of the greatest band in the land.

Of course I side with the points of a fan.

Adam barely has any presence and he really has a non-existent history in rock and roll.

He's gotten better with the successive collaborations, but I can feel people's pain on that. It's mainly due to his credibility and his warbling and screeching.

Its not cause he's gay.

There are a few songs he pulls off without changing pitch, (which is understandably great) but his emotive qualities are certainly lacking which pisses off purists who see it as a GREAT NIGHT OF KARAOKE featuring Lambert. (The same ones who will remember cringing in absolute HORROR as Adam asked an assistant off camera "the guitarist, What's his name ?")

I'm happy to be able to see them live this summer. I missed my chance to see them at club Ivar in Hollywood with less than 200 people at their nearly unpublicized WALK OF FAME CEREMONY. ... I will NEVER forget that pain.

So I'm grateful, regardless of the musical theater singing. I just want to be baptized in the musical glow of Brian's red special (and himself) and enjoy the hell out of it.

Super fans shouldn't worry about Brian and Roger "stealing" Adam. If anything there might be a recorded collaboration.

The other qz'ers are right to take note of his label dropping him for declining to do an 80's covers album.

Maybe the newbies know very little about this shoddy industry. It'll take talent and put them as a cog in the machine ("muzak fake machine, cross collateralized")

The strength of queen was their divergent styles and excess and musicianship.

There can never be another Freddie. There won't be anOther John Deacon either.

Which makes my seeing them all the more important.

I think the arrangement is generous of Queen and yes, commercial but also could be extremely significant for Lambert if he's to grow.

Personally I wouldn't mind him being successful, not especially fond of his singing. Hate the songs I've heard from him, was kinda disgusted with his gay kissing and crotch facing on national television. ... seems trashy and contrived. .. even for a dude.

But hey. ... It's all going down the shithole anyways right?

Carry on with the fighting. This shit is entertaining!
Re the puppies, I always look for the humor in a given situation ;> Outside of the collaboration with Queen, I agree Adam has essentially no history in rock and roll. Not many do these days, even for those who've chosen the genre from the start, and Adam's mostly into pop and EDM. Although some fans think he hasn't got a lot radio play because he's gay, I don't agree with that. He got plenty of coverage on at least three singles, so I think it's just that pop is an easier category to break for females in the US, just like country is far easier to break for males. Pop audiences love the Beyonces and the Rihannas and the Katy Perry's dancing in bare skin and glitter. Although Adam likes glitter (not so much the bare skin thing, though) it just doesn't translate as well for men - at least not since Michael Jackson. Bruno Mars does great, but he's been working behind the scenes for a long time - more power to him. I haven't heard of any fans worried that Queen will steal him, simply because I think everyone assumes this might be their last tour. And while some wish he stayed away from rock altogether, I'm happy with it. Also, if it's just this one tour, it's still less than 2 months of his time - not really a big deal in terms of future projects. And since he's already writing/recording/producing his 3rd album, it seems like he's not worried about multiple projects. He and RCA did indeed part ways when RCA wanted him to record an 80's cover album, and I think that was wise. I don't have a problem with him doing an album of covers later in his career, but not at the building stage he's currently in now. Since he's working pretty intently with Max Martin and co., the assumption is that he's already signed with a new label (MM's discography certainly implies he only works with labels - and he's very expensive!). I doubt we'll hear which label it is until the single drops, though. I do speculate that he may drop the single sometime during or right after the QAL tour, to leverage the media exposure they'll be getting during the tour. That makes sense if the album will be released in 2014. If it doesn't drop until 2015, then I assume the single will not drop until fall at the earliest. As to his voice, obviously taste is subjective. I'm a fan first and foremost of his voice, and secondly of his stage craft - I really like a lot he's done both before he appeared on Idol and since. He does wail on the high notes, and that's not for everyone, that's for sure. Carry on with the fighting. This shit is entertaining! I have 11 brothers and sisters - this is nothing compared to growing up in our house!

Oh, so it's because he is male now. Lordy, the poor guy, and the ones who come up with excuses about his career. *roll eyes*
Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars and more seem to be doing well, gosh who would have thought. Do I have to point out they are guys?

Here's a video that will blow a few minds (and Adam would probably shoot me for posting it) -- a strawberry blonde, chubby 18-year-old singing at his graduation:

Not gonna blow my mind, I know you posted it elsewhere and I watched it then. What is that supposed to prove here, that he was chubby, younger or the color of his hair?

These constant video postings are reeking of straw grasping and not doing your cause any more favours. You're just lame.

I repeat, I don't have a cause -- I'm just posting in a thread called "Adam Lambert Videos for any Queen Fans Who Care to Watch Them." If you don't care to watch them -- DON'T

Here's another one that you probably shouldn't watch:

Well, I'm sure many AL fans already know those videos, I mean you knew he was chubby, young, his hair color, and he sang and graduated. All that in the on the one video, which I already knew so I didn't watch again.

Fine, icy, I didn't post that for you. Why don't you post something original instead of responding to everything that others post?

BTW I was responding to a post by inu-liger, not to you.
