So about 700 downloads since the upload. About 30 thank you's and nobody seems to take up any effort to help Rikku, Frampton and Rick ?

Here is the link this one should work again.

I've only just got round to listening to the acetate rip (normal not hi res) and there seems to be a lot of tssst tsssst tsssst noise in it of the type that you get when you encode live concerts to 128kbs mp3 (well, you used to 15 years ago which is why I don't use mp3). Running the files through traders little helper mpeg test shows only a 42% chance of CDDA.
So what's the deal here? Have they been converted to mp3 first and then flac'd?
Anyone else noticed the noise?

You should try the 24/96Khz version. The 14/48Khz is indeed influenced by Wer_al-Zwore his magic, so this could be the reason for the arificial digital effects you encounter.

When you listnen to the raw version you will notice that you can hear the poor condition of the acetate ... you can hear the needle sweep on the acetate, the shape changed from a perfect circle to a not perfect circle. A good ear will notice this !

Though the 24/96 has a lot more hiss and sweep loops or whatever one calls this. I prefer the Wer_al-Zwore remaster , but you have to bear with the digital effects.

For sure this is lossless !

I have only now realised you have posted a 96kHz version, unfortunately it's deleted already. Could somebody who downloaded it please reupload it?
