It's really difficult to perform EDM live, which is why it's primarily done by DJ producers via digital equipment.  I personally think this was the biggest problem with his Trespassing album.  FYE, while a lot of pop, pop/rock and ballads, was fairly simple to modify to a more strongly rock version during live concerts.  TP had about 30% ballads, but the rest was heavily weighted toward pop and pop/EDM.  EDM is really tough to replicate in a live performance.  I think it can be done, but it's not easy.

I also think Adam needs a far more experienced music director to make this happen, and probably a higher caliper of musicians backing him.  Look at what tons of experience and an almost unlimited bankroll do for the legacy acts like Chic, Queen, etc.  This is another reason I really love Adam's collaboration with Queen and Nile Rodgers; he's getting first-hand experience on what a difference extra musicians, high caliper musicians and an excellent MD can make to the final, live product.

He's gaining a lot of experience right now with these experts, and hopefully at the end of the day he'll have increased his wealth enough to level up in terms of the musical elements for his live tours.

The twitter universe is a very public place. If is not a place to publish what you want to remain private. Adam is a celebrity and anything that is tweeted about him is instantly retweeted worldwide! Just like this forum is a public place. If you don't want what you post here to be posted elsewhere your permission is not required. even though you seem to think so. THAT is CREEPY!

I wonder what he banked on this one-off event? The father's CV was floating around. He's the founder and CEO of a billion dollar health corporation, and he reportedly spent between $500,000 and $1,000,000 for his daughter's party. That seems crazy foolish to me, but hey, I'm glad it was Adam getting the lion's share of that paycheck.

Apparently his daughter has been a huge fan since she was 11 (during Adam's Idol run), and had no idea he was coming. And it seems he spent the day, from brunch to evening, with the family, so that was really an added treat to the kid - her excitement was off the charts in her tweets.

I heard that Adam was paid a half million ($500,000) and I don't know if that included his airfare (for himself and band) and hotel accommodations, meals, etc. His booking website says that he charges between $450,000 to $750,000 for private parties.

Basically, Nile and Avicii were in studio together and Adam had just spent the night partying when Nile called him telling him to come round

Avicii/Nile had written most of the music and 1 lyrical line and Adam got in and heard it, loved it, wrote the rest in 35 minutes, et voila.

So anything that is tweeted about him is instantly retweeted worldwide? Now that is creepy. You are posting about a young lady's birthday party, I guess to promote AL. I'm sure that lady did not expect her birthday party to be instantly retweeted worldwide.
