Shady is probably my favorite track on Trespassing.  Adam and Sam Sparrow co-wrote it, and then tweeted Nile Rodgers to see if he'd play guitar.  To quote Casablanca, it was the start of a beautiful friendship.  I really get a kick out of the fan who did this lyric vid, though, because they interpreted 'dancing shoes' as 'damn sin shoes' lolol!  Kinda funky (the interpretation and Nile's bass beat both):

The Oprah show reminded me of another one - Adam's interview with Jay Leno (before he performed).  This one is hilarious because Jay obviously worked out this 'plucking from obscurity' joke ahead of time, and it worked beautifully.  This is in the early days after his Idol season, and just after the 'scandalous' AMA performance.  The vid was done by a Japanese or Korean fan, but it's in English.  Jay really got a kick out of Adam.

I wouldn't worry about that.  Clearly Lipton has a global roll-out planned, and the US will be a part of it.  You just need to wait for it to play out.  I believe the zorgs (plastic spheres the guys are running in) will be shown moving across different countries and different environments.  I wouldn't be surprised if it ended in the US, and that could be some weeks or months away for a big global campaign.  It's bound to be there, and I'm guessing it's in an end-game position because Lipton is very popular in the US.

Also I'm going to guess it's tea-drinking weather (i.e. warm/hot) in each nation when the spot is intro'd in that nation, so they'll start now in the tropic zones, and move to northern climes as spring turns to summer.

I still can't find a youtube of Adam's Leno appearance right after the AMA's, but this one was in 2010 right before the start of his Glam Nation tour:

And this is another Leno show appearance in 2012:

I hope Jimmy Fallon will be as generous in inviting Adam to the Tonight Show as Jay Leno was in the past!

Any news if it will be released in NA?

Avicii singles appear to have a planned global roll-out, starting in Australia before a staging drop to other countries.  'Hey Brother' and 'Addicted to You' were both released in Australia first, and HB is still in the Top 40 in the US.  I imagine LMD will be intro'd to the US when HB drops out of the cycle, which will probably be just before the tour, so timing is perfect for a summer party song, and for promo that can be tied to the QAL tour.  Here's some info on the new single release of Lay Me Down:

SINGLE OF THE DAY

AVICII
LAY ME DOWN
(PMAM/UMA)

A number of commercial radio programmers have been waiting for an official service of this track, and its not hard to see why: Adam Lambert and Nile Rodgers - who's enjoyed an amazing career resurgence since teaming with a certain pair of French robots - ad a sultry swing that's been missing from Avicii's previous, dare we say, country-tinged singles. This song is officially at radio on Monday, but we've already seen a few cheeky pre-service additions, so expect to hear this tune over the weekend.
[/i]

Looks like it's already getting a very good response, even before its official release.  Avicii has said its one of the better received tracks during his concerts.  It will make an excellent summer/dance song.  I also think there's a very good chance that the single and the Lipton Ice Team commercial, feat. LMD, may appear in the US near the same time; summer/tea season, which will give them great promo leverage.  One thing I'm fairly confident about, if QAL play an Adam song during their concerts, it won't be this one.  EMD is way out of Queen's wheelhouse.  It's great that Adam will have so many different genre projects going on at once, though, esp. if he releases a single from his 3rd album during the tour, which is what I'm hoping for, because of the whole leverage issue again.

From another site:

Addicted to you is still #7 in France, so I don't think it's officially a single there yet, but it's being played, and apparently doing very well.

NRJ has stations all over Europe, including 7 in Germany, so this is a good indicator that it's an upcoming single in Europe as well.

ETA: And another French station played it:

It looks like LMD is the next single off of Avicii's album True.  First countries announcing are Australia, France and Brazil:

I love how both article mention that Adam is both the singer and co-songwriter, and that's it's a collaboration between Avicii, Adam and Nile.  And they're sure loving Nile's involvement.  What a legend that guy is!
