Well, all I can say so far @AdamAddict is ... if you want to be ready, get your EARLY Queen albums out ! (among others !) Bri

Stone Cold Crazy? It is a good fit for Adam's style. If the song was being produced by an artist today, it might very well be in the EDM genre with digital accompaniment.
No, I don't think it's a good fit for AL. The song is hard rock, and well AL isn't.
Queen disagrees with you.
So? I disagree with Brian and Roger and anyone who feels AL can sing rock well, let alone the heavier songs like SCC which I don't think AL is a good fit for him. It seems very hard to do live(although a short song)
So how did you manage to pick Freddie's and John's brains that they disagree with me :P

I can read.
And based on what I've read and what's happened, I think I can safely conclude that what Queen will do (and therefore how they think) is the exact opposite of what you'd like to see and what you think. Here's a few examples:
1. You think Adam isn't a good fit stylistically or vocally for Queen, but Queen loves Adam and have chosen him for, progressively, a few one-offs, a mini-tour, and now a major tour. They love his vocals and style, and say they're a perfect fit for what Freddie did. I know that because they've said that - repeatedly.
2. You think Brian and Roger should tour alone (without a frontman, just singing themselves!), but Queen has never done it, and they never will, because - wait for it - they're not stupid. They're a draw as part of the band Queen, and the band Queen needs a killer frontman to provide the main vocals, a role which neither Brian nor Roger is well suited for or enjoys. This is why Brian and Kerry aren't the same draw as Queen with Brian, Roger, Spike, Neil and a guest vocalist (GM, PR, AL, etc.)
3. You think Adam is a karaoke singer, Queen thinks he's got a one in a million, killer voice.
Ergo it's easy to draw the logical conclusion that you and Queen are on completely different pages where the future of Queen is concerned. I expect, based on your hope that Queen does not make an album with AL, that indeed Queen WILL make an album with AL. Keep up the predictions - their inverse makes me very happy.

Nope, you can and you will twist things that I post, here and elsewhere, this is another example.
I've said what I feel. I'm not talking for anyone else with my views he can't sing rock well.
I have the right to disagree with Brian and Roger.
You are stupid. You are relying on other people's words to suit you case about AL in this case repeating what Brian and Roger has said. Am I supposed to agree with them, you to be a fan in your eyes? Hell no, there are things I didn't like about Queen with Freddie.
Again though, you are taking things from QOL to here. Just because you can't reply to me there.

Of course you have a right to disagree with Queen. I didn't say you didn't. I said Queen disagrees with you. Does the fact that you want something different for Queen than Queen wants for themselves make you 'not a fan'? I suppose not, but it does make you pretty irrelevant where Queen is concerned, as they won't be using your thoughts as a guideline for their future activities. This is patently true based on their spoken words, written words, and actions. Hence what you hope comes to pass with Queen is very unlikely to occur. That's a big Yay! for me, since I, like Queen, also disagree with you as to how Queen should perform going forward.

You prove nothing I say except for possibly pure hero worship for AL will be good enough for you.
Yes, good for you, and I'm happy for you that you have the chances to see Q+AL. If I had no hope at all in anything related to Queen, that would be something else. I have hopes for some things in the world of Queen's music, even for AL.
Icy probably wants to see this song performed on the tour:

And you probably want to brag about buying coloring books about AL. How's that going for you? Suits your mentality about AL. LOL.

Great news! This is going to start with a soundboard quality recording. I´m assuming there will be some cameras there too.
By the way, let´s hope someone records the documentary on Australian TV next sunday.
Here´s the link:

It looks very interesting.
I'm guessing the 'wear purple' campaign is an homage to Queen - rock royalty. The expression 'born to the purple' came about in medieval times for royal or noble families because the plants and minerals required to make a purple dye were very hard to come by and therefore very expensive. Living in Minnesota, I have a plethora of purple stuff (the Vikings' colors are gold and purple and they were once parodied in a song as the purple people eaters) but I doubt I'll wear anything related to a sports team ;>
