To be fair to Gerry, no one is going to say that George Harrison, Warren Zevon and Joey Ramone's voices on their finally vocal tracks were even in the same dimension as Freddie's on Mother Love. In the same vain, no one is going to say that George Harrison, Warren Zevon and Joey Ramone's final songs were as craptacular as Mother Lover or the bulk of MIH so it's a draw.

Freddie did and that in itself was spectacular.

I will allow your miss quote of what I actually said. I guess you needed to do that to re enforce what you were trying to say. The fact remains that other people have been in the same situation as FM and continued to produce their art. I wasn't pointing out the lack of brilliance on Freddies part, as you appear to have tried to do with the other named artists.

On the subject of MIH it's a great album, which if you use you brain as well as your ears takes you on a journey, in the way that great albums used to and Hot Space didn't

vocal harmony: Everyone views the "made in Heaven" album in there own way but for me that last track did not mean anything musical or enjoyable to me.

If i was high on cocaine then i may have said " Oh that last track is mint" but i really can not get into it.
Its the worst thing ever that Queen has recorded.

FWIW, I was commenting on vocals and music, and not supporting or slamming anyone. I think VH is a totally decent person whose contributions are always thoughtful and well intentioned. Never ever think of him as a wind up merchant.

Gerry, Cocaine, FM's Drug of choice, is the last thing you need to be on to listen to or understand that last track. When I said use your ears and brain I was talking about listening to the whole album, and hearing the journey it takes you on. I wasn't talking about just one track.

Yes we all have a choice as to what we listen to and what we think is good. I like Hot Space, but i think MIH is a better album, the only Queen album I don't like is the works, although as individual songs I like some of what's on it. Does that make me right right or wrong, of couse not. But if I was to say The Works is crap or single out a musician or artist I don't like and call them crap, rubbish, shit or what ever based on the reasoning that I don't like them, that would be a very small minded view of reality, but one, it would appear, that you are happy to associate yourself with.

Vocal Harmony: its not bad to have an opinion other wise we would all have cardboard personalities, for instance
