Pittrek, I have another one question:

Where have you found the footage of Freddie (5 seconds) during Procession?

That's from Tokyo 75, from one of the documentaries (not sure which one). I just needed something for filling a couple of seconds and this was perfect - at the time it wasn't known from which gig the footage came, it "could" be Rainbow.

^ I have a thing called an LCD HD television set ;-)
I agree that if your HD "TV" is a CRT (unlikely) then an interlaced video would indeed look mighty fine on it.
LCD TVs however are not interlaced and some of those interlaced videos from the RT box set look horrible on them.
De-interlace those same videos and they look great.
Just my preference I guess.[/QUOTE]

Funny, my LCD HD TV is doing automatic deinterlace :-) I haven't seen the RT videos yet, but if they look as weird as the 2011 Wembley set, it's caused by a fucked up PAL->NTSC conversion, not by interlacing

Like I said, de-interlacing some videos can cure playback issues on LCD TVs.
I HAVE watched the RT DVD, some of the videos on the original disc look awful on an LCD TV, but fine on a CRT TV.
De-interlace those same videos and play them back on the same LCD TV and they look fine.
I'm repeating myself here, but I have done it myself and I know it to be the case.
I don't like PAL to NTSC conversions either, but not much we can do about that ;-)

I´m glad i read this.
The Wembley first night really looks bad on my TV. I thought that it was my product that was ruined, but is this the way it looks for everybody?
It seems like i´m watching an old youtube video.

I've never seen that opening bit for Modern Times Rock 'N Roll, so that was a surprise.

Thank you for this merge!

I am a bit curious though, why are you against this being uploaded to YouTube? :)

Let's say that I don't like other people making money from the work of other people.

PS you will see this video in September

Fair point :) I guess all of these Rainbow bootlegs have become obsolete now that they just announced it, lol! It'll still be fun to compare the September release to the old bootleg videos though ;O

......unless the bootleggers come out with a complete Rainbow with TFFMS before the official one is released.
