But seriously, if they REALLY want to do the new album they better DO IT and no TALK about it for another 5 years

I totally agree with you pittrek, but i have the feeling they will release the new album very soon to promote the tour with adam.

That'd be nice, but please, no Jackson duets on it. Just pure Queen.

Honestly saying I don't care how they're going to promote New Queen album with Freddie vocal.
The main thing that it was released.

Well, then remain two Queen songs.

The problem is now that the tour with Lambert is coming up. I think it starts on June 19th and runs through the whole of July and then there's a few more dates in Japan and/or South Korea?
I don't know exactly how many tracks there are going to be or if any MJ tracks will also be included but I just hope this Adam Lambert business doesn't take their minds too far away from making the album as good as it really should be.
We all know that there must be enough material to make a full album just with the stuff that has leaked over the years. Now how much of the good stuff was leaked and how much is still unheard sitting in the archives.
I did like Brenski's point that he made where QP cold make side 2 of the album like side 2 of Abbey Road with the medley. All those demos and snippets that don't have full songs could be merged into a continuous flow of music. Maybe stuff from 'I guess We're falling out', 'A New Life Is Born', ' Face It Alone', etc.

Well! One side of Sheer Heart Attack followed that format to a certain extent, as did one side of ANATO, and just about everyone loves those albums! And now that another album of left over MJ tracks has been(is being) released, I say get the MJ tracks off there and cordinate the Queen/Lambsie tour to support a 100% Queen only album!
Then maybe they could do a Queen/MJ EP later on, if and when the Freddie Mercury movie finally comes out. Hey! Maybe there are even enough Queen tracks to add to them to make another album, which could be released at the time the movie does comes out, assuming it does!
Just on your point about unknown unreleased tracks EDWOOD, there are one or two extensive threads on this on here. The speculation is endless. I mean maybe they made even one more album when they returned to Montreux after Innuendo was released. That would mean they could drip feed say three tracks an album for say four albums.
Now that theory would be backed by the fact that this new album supposedly has 3 completely new unheard of tracks, as did Made in Heaven of course.

Just a thought ( maybe should be a different thread ) will the Freddie meeting with Jacko feature in the movie !?
mooghead · Member since
Will probably be about 95% of it... its all about maximum revenue.... ;-)

Be a good USP to plug the Queen/Jacko tracks.

If there's going to be new Queen (incl. Freddie) material, I will probably get the cd. If there are Freddie + MJ tracks on there, I'll skip them when I play the disc. Not for me, thanks.

If they are finishing the mix now, it will not be in the Shops in time for the tour. If this would have been their Intention we would know the release date by now. And I doubt that it would be a good idea to promote a tour with another singer by a record on which Freddie does the vocals...

They'd have to do all the radio & TV to promote it anyway, it'll be a big deal, I just can't see anything being released until next year !
