Kind of getting tired of all the fighting overpowering other topics (not picking sides here), why don't we just redirect it to this thread here folks? ;)

I only have one thing to add about the fur flying over fur.  If those really opposed to fur (and the cruelty to animals that goes hand in hand with that industry) really wanted to do some good, they'd try very hard to get adam's fanbase on the program.  Say what you will about the fans, but a few things are undeniable; there are a lot of them, they are vocal, and they are social media savvy.  If they decided to make an issue of fur in the hopes of Adam and others paying attention, they could - with tweets, twitter trends, facebook and all other social media.

But instead I'm fairly convinced that most - with the possible exception of innuendo - care only about this issue as another way to slag off lambert and through him his fans.  The fact is that with the crap slung  around now, they're not so likely to get help from those fans, not because they don't care about the cause, but because of the target Adam was made over it.  I know it's just 2-3 people here and on QOL, but they've pretty much poisoned the well for any help if they truly wanted to use those numbers to make some progress on this issue.  Oh well.

It was bad enough comparing Adam to Sarah Palin who shoots wolves from helicopters in Alaska, but the kicker was comparing Adam to Hitler and that Adam is worse than that maniac because he has purchased and worn 3 items of clothing with fur on it (and no one knows for sure if that fur was fake or real). You can be against killing animals in order to get their fur for fashion, but to compare it to slaughtering the Jews during WWII is beyond the pale! I didn't have the heart to tell that guy that Adam is a Jew! You would think from the outrage against Adam that he is the guy who owns the factories that does the slaughtering of those animals. I do understand the comment that by purchasing the fur items you are giving business to those slaughter houses. But I really think that 20 pages of outrage and calling the guy a selfish, arrogant cunt is uncalled for, especially when he has been responsible for preventing depressed people from committing suicide! I can't post that over on QOL, though, because it just goes on and on and they will accept nothing that sounds like a defense of the monster known as Adam Lambert. I don't think Adam is a saint but he certainly does not deserve the crap they love to throw at him!

[/QUOTE] They're not throwing crap at adam, they're throwing crap at his fans, because that's what trolls do.  They just use Adam because they know it riles his fans up.  Otherwise there would have been a thread on fur long ago, but there wasn't.  Otherwise people wouldn't be making excuses for Freddie and Elton John, but they are.  It's pretty obvious that the issue isn't really about fur, but more accurately about trolling glamberts.

And while the fur issue itself is no laughing matter, the vitriol of the adam haters is.  They're so obvious, and yet so unself-aware of that obviousness.  Look at some of them demanding that lambert fans fix the problem.  LOLOL.  Fix it yourself, because you lost any allies you might have had on this issue in your zeal to troll.  I'm pretty convinced it isn't an issue those particular people care about at all, since I've never heard a peep out of them about it before, but now it's all they talk about, including how they've been 'thinking' about it for the last 30 years.  I guess they never read 'How to Win Friends and Influence People'. It's pretty funny, and yet not.

Oh well, opportunity lost for a good cause.

This looks like what Adam was wearing. It may or may not be.

It looks exactly like the one on Adam's jacket. Can you post this over at queenonline? I want nothing more to do with that subject over there! Thanks!

If you haven't already seen it, this is a better preview of the upcoming QAL summer tour. It is the full QAL concert in Kiev, Ukraine on June 30, 2012. Fast forward through the first 15 minutes of a local interview to get to the Flash intro:

I guess Adam doesn't have it so bad being compared to Hitler, even though Adolph loved animals more than people and Adam loves people more than some animals -- today President Obama was criticized on Fox Cable for chewing gum at the 70th Anniversary of D-Day memorial in Normandy. I'm not sure but I think he chews gum as a still recovering cigarette smoker, but it is a crime (and probably an impeachable offense) according to the folks at Fox.

Let´s hear what Freddie has to say about this:

It will be played at their upcoming tour, dedicated to Queenzone :-)

Hmm. In case you can't count, that is more than one thing.
Are you that nuts to think some us on QOL are against fur just because AL is wearing it? WTF are you on? You are wrong by the way...time and time again you prove how wrong you are about so much. The way you continue to twist things to suit your f**ked up agenda. AL's own words about not killing it, so I can wear it are biting him in the ass, but his fans still feel the need/want to defend him. He sounded like an asshole, and you sound like an asshole here.

Liar. You are dodging the issue and refusing to even take in what people are trying to explain. You want people to shut up, and you are worried about the reaction AL might get at upcoming shows.
You want nothing to do with that topic over there...so hey why not bring up horse racing? You once again fail.
So ok, if that is posted over there at least I will know who Sparkles is. More slips LOL. I guess you really can't post in that thread as you don't have much of a comeback, only to bring up horse racing. That's all you got to counter the debate, once again fail.

Mithril dear, how long were you a QOL member? Not long compared to some of the people over there. You haven't much of a clue what was debated before you joined, or even after you joined. You are just another who had not much to ever add except for AL/Glambert "defense" "outrage". That was your cause over there, and it is here. LOL. Oh you might just give a post or 2 about LOTR. That's it.
I can smell your outrage in defending AL/Glamberts. You just can't do it on QOL. Unless you have capt to do it for you and vice versa?
You think you know so much, but once again you know f**k all. You are shit stirring here from there.
I'll tell you this, it's a very important issue for me, as are many other things. Which you will never know about as you are always jumping to conclusions in your causes that is AL/Glamberts defense.

Really?! In 1979, my mother and I gave donations to stop the seal slaughter in Canada and I've been working on animal rights the rest of my life, from before then up until now.  My own mom opened a free spay/neuter clinic with the help of her friends and had me as a consultant since I was a veterinary assistant.  She also did investigations for the county against animal cruelty.   So, yea, I've been at this a long, long time.  Give it a rest!
The bad new is, we've lost our way. But the good news is, we're WAY ahead of schedule. :-)
