Really?! In 1979, my mother and I gave donations to stop the seal slaughter in Canada and I've been working on animal rights the rest of my life, from before then up until now.  My own mom opened a free spay/neuter clinic with the help of her friends and had me as a consultant since I was a veterinary assistant.  She also did investigations for the county against animal cruelty.   So, yea, I've been at this a long, long time.  Give it a rest![/QUOTE]

And if you read my posts above you'll see that I made an exception for you, because I do indeed believe that you not only care about this issue, but have worked on it for a long time.  What I said was that I didn't think most of the others banging on about Adam were in the same category as you, since you've talked about this issue a lot, and them never - until now.  I also said that the way this has gone down has probably done little to help the cause you care about.  You first suggested that fans 'nicely' make Adam aware of the issue, but that's not the tack others have taken.  Trolling ruins everything eventually, even the good intentions of others.

I said 'possible' because while you did post something that I thought was helpful (the advice that Lambert's fans let him know nicely about the issue) you followed it up with a post that fit more in line with the trollers.  They sort of cancelled each other out in my opinion.  This is what I mean by 'trolls spoil everything'.  People get caught up in the game, and before you know it they've unintentionally said/done something contrary to their best interests and actual beliefs.  It's the game trollers play, leading down one path, then another, and often getting caught in their own web as they go.

How the fuck do you know what people do elsewhere with no proof?! Isn't there a sexy, beautiful, best poll to do with AL you want/need to vote on? Thataway < -.
Believe me or not, I care about animal issues, Inny is one of my dearest friends, so she can vouch for that. Why not ask about people instead of assuming.
I care about many things. Do not mistake that. I've been on QOL since 2007. You hardly know what I talked about before you joined. You hardly knew after as your posting was usually all about AL, and not much else. You may have read much, but unlikely you ever took anything in without even being in contact with hardly anyone who wasn't a Glambert.
Funny btw, how you have capt fighting your battles for him and you fighting his. The crap you spew goes to show how damn weak you are in discussing/debating anything.
You are not helping your AL/Glambert cause. You majorly fail about that. That's the only cause you have, and you do a sad, sorry "job" of it.
You are proving you are nothing but a troll yourself here, just as you did on QOL. You have a chip on your shoulder about the place and many of it members. So much so you "reply" here.
It was you who added to this thread about goings on at QOL.
Do your fucking research or STFU about things you clearly haven't a clue about...look harder in QOL than AL related discussions, as you might learn a thing or 2.

What are you truly after? Thankfully Inny has a mind of her own...about many things to save you the trouble of reading/judging. But do learn how to search out things before you spew lies about it.
You fail at your own game. Defend, promote and blast the people who don't share your views exactly. This issue is quite the example.
Too bad you must resort to lies in trying to defend and promote.

About what?  I've been a QOL member since 2002 or so.  I've been on at least 4 of their boards if not 5. You have no idea what I was talking about on there in 2004, do you? Even the wayback machine won't find it anymore.

Anyway, here's my thoughts.  I do not like Adam's voice. I also am an animal right's activist.  I will bet good money there are people out there whose voice you don't like either.  Correct? nobody likes everything and that's thew way it goes.  I don't dislike Adam, other than for his flippant attitude about fur which I hope will change, shortly.   If he sang with one of the type voices I like, then that would be great and I would probably support him fronting Queen on a temporary basis.

But this is what is really getting to me and a lot of others. It's the AL fans bashing the Queen and QOL fans who are die hard Freddie fans.  We don't like having Adam shoved down our throats by his fans, then bashed all over the net like on here, Amazon and QOL as well and many of us just don't like his voice.  But this trying to put him as the front man for Queen is ridiculous.  It's temporary and will be! And his attitude about fur needs to change as well as his wearing of python boots, I believe.  Hopefully after he is shown what really happens to the animals that these furs come from is like, he'll be repulsed and never wear it again.  If he doesn't, he's liable to lose some non-Queen fans because I have seen a lot of remarks against fur on AL sites and articles from his own fans.

And that is all.  Have a nice day!

It's all about agendas and fanatical egos with them, Innuendoes. Good luck trying to get them to admit it or even acknowledge it...

I really don't care that you don't like his voice.  Of course there are artists whose voice and/or style I don't like (almost any artist with a twang, or any song about guns, pickup trucks, beer, and dogs), and I have no problem with people who don't care for Lambert for the same reasons.  I enjoy talking about him, because I'm a fan, but I have no interest in convincing others about him.  I'm no missionary, and really couldn't care less about that.  As long as he has enough fans to fill seats and continue his career, that's all I care about.

As to bashing Queen and/or Freddie, I've never done that - I seriously love their history and their music.  I'd have no problem saying I didn't like something they did, but that's not bashing, imo, just stating an opinion.  I actually don't think I've done that, though, as generally I prefer to focus on what I like, not on what I don't like.

The only point I was making was that some, in an effort to bash Adam, used the fur issue in such a way that it wasn't helpful to the fur issue.  That's a shame.  Additionally, since people can't really be successful in bashing Adam himself, they frequently go after his fans, and I think that's a line that shouldn't be crossed on a forum.  When that happens to me, I don't like it, and I don't let it slide.  That has nothing to do with Adam, though.  The discussion should be the artists and their projects, not the fans.  When posts focus on the fans, I automatically think trolls.

You don't have a case, but you are a case. You are taking debates from elsewhere to here. It's getting clearer all the time you and SC want/need to spam, defend, promote AL. You go on the attack with the people who dare not see him the way you both do. I know if I never posted anything about him wearing or saying what he did about fur, I still wouldn't be a fan of his in your eyes.
You are proving you are the definition of a troll. If trolling/haters is all you ever have to offer the people who don't share your views, do try harder. You know f**k all about me, when it's said and done. You don't know what I did in my past, or even what I did and continue to do elsewhere on the web for many issues. You simply haven't a clue.
I wait for you to turn on Inny now. Because she is one that can and will discuss/debate things with me. So much for your thinking no one talks to me as it's right there that people do.
You can't reply to me/others on QOL, so you bring it to here where you mouth off about the people you hardly bothered in discussing things with on QOL. SC wants another poster to post something on QOL, because she is done...once again until the mood strikes her to post, but to yet dodge the issue.
You lie and you twist things to suit your agenda. Funny thing is, if you were over at QOL, I doubt you would have the guts or the decency to even debate the issue, you would be just defending AL.
