If Queen decided to recreate Queen live at NEW WEMBLEY in the daylight
Using a hologram of Freddie
Would you go and see it?
I know they said they won't
But if the technology got so good
And in the daylight
Freddie running around onto the wings even up and down stairs
And it looked really really real
Would you want to see it?
The on,y thing different would be the live music backing and Brian and Roger older. And the venue
But the stage could be the same or slightly different modernised design.
if not why do you watch the video/ dvd
And if they filmed it the new modern version
Would you refuse to buy and watch it on blu ray?
A daylight version of that at the massive new WEMBLEY would be amazing and I believe they would sell it out.
Yes think modern looking
Different design just same track lists with new different backing variations running order etc.
All daylight and that gigantium audience
All live music with the live vocal.
If it was to the standard i envision
It would certainly not be boring
It would rival live aid as a live event.
And they could shoot it in 3d for cinemas and blu ray
Aftwards
Freddie then would be the best singer in the world
The best performer in the world
And by far the best hologram
The potential for the amazing power of holograms is only fully appreciated by seeing the undoubted unparalleled live performing and audience connection of Freddie Mercury.
It is obvious how it would be the best hologram ever.

We really need to get a grip the band have laid out their plans and it does include recreating Wembley in the daylight with Freddie running around the stage!

Good it should
And you dismiss the power of Freddie running around the stage, he is considered the best ever live performer in the world and everyone agrees.
And I say it again
It would rival Live Aid as an event

It would never be true Freddie because in order for movements to look somewhat real they would have to get Freddie to motion capture the movements. Take a look at the new Jackson 'hologram', it's shite, and yeah, they used an impersonator, plus the face didn't look really like him as well.

A ventriloquist's dummy of Fred would be better.

Couldn't they just lift the video of Freddie at WEMBLEY and motion capture that?
Or if not they could use the Budapest HD one
That is clear and good.

No you fail to see what I am saying
I am saying a hologram of Freddie's actual performance at WEMBLEY or now BUDAPEST
They just lift that and let it run round and be on the stage at the new WEMBLEY arena FULL of People
It would be like he is there.
His whole performance was to the audience
There would be no difference and every eye would be on him as usual, but with live applause
What's the capacity of that arena?
It would be phenomenal!

I don't think they would use Wembley because it's shot on tape so the quality isn't good enough for these days. They couldn't use Budapest because they only have the film copy that's cut together already - they don't have variety of angles. Same with Montreal. So they can only use the promo videos that were shot on film - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OVtjXMq2sTw
Also, surely you mean rotoscoping not motion capture. Motion capture is something like this - http://www-personal.umich.edu/~hamms/portfolio/motioncapture/images/compo_01.jpg This is rotoscoping (cutting out) - http://cgiknowledge.files.wordpress.com/2013/02/rotoscoping_guy_image.jpg
No one would ever bother to hand-rotoscope Freddie from a whole concert, I don't know how many years that would take and how much would that cost even if there was a footage perfect for this sort of thing. One song - perhaps, but certainly not a full concert.

The tech would have to be the best possible to make it as perfectly real as possible
using the real Freddie from the blue ray footage
Placed on the stage of the new WEMBLEY arena
And just doing the whole show with Queen .
No it would have to be a whole concert
Or you could not fill an entire stadium
Shame if they don't in my opinion
Everyone knows Freddie would be the best most interactive proposal for this technology
, people reply just when he is on a movie film like at the Olympics thing
He is vitally real to them already, a well done fully moving Hologram on a stage dynamically performing a whole show of the set would be successful and the best hologram ever.
And Queens perfect timing would allow them to play it blindfolded , but they could tweak the backing and guitar arrangements etc as they wish, to bring it forward and fresh sounding.
The music and moment would I think make them seriously forget its a hologram
The music would just carry the whole gig along
It really would be a kind of magic
Lol
The whole thing would be so great a spectacle and gig that there would be no negative comments about hologram use.
It would be the greatest live event since live aid
Truly it would be electric and soooo real!!!!,

Are you f*cking mad?
For a million reasons, this event will NEVER take place and neither should it

Dude, it's not possible to make a full concert like this just yet. Have you seen any? Also, it would never look *soooo real!!!!*, I bet it would look just as fake as the Jackson hologram. And, to be honest, no such 'hologram' yet exists like (I suppose) you imagine - stuff in 3D like Star Wars. Best you could get would be like cartoon image, see this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDRTghGZ7XU
If we are talking about rotoscoping - it would look real if done well. But it wouldn't be possible to make it appear *live* to live audience. It would just have to be shown on a big screen I imagine. Not to mention it's just impossible to rotoscope Freddie frame by frame from 2 hour footage that doesn't even really exist to begin with because Wembley wasn't shot on film.
Why would this be needed anyway? Just buy the Wembley DVD and watch it on a big screen, rent a cinema to show it to your friends, I don't know.

Man it would be shiny and new
21 century
They could even give him a new costume design and the music will be new versions of guitar and backing and lights
Wow ow it would be incredible
But it would be the blu ray film
So why afraid of that?
They just add to it
Change the costume and set design in that massive capacity filled WEMBLEY arena
Wow wow wow!
Soon it will be possible though
People used to be afraid of movies you know
There an old clip of a train they got and people thought it was going to come out of the screen at them back when they first invented moving pictures
Can't get afraid of this great new technology
It would be an amazing event
The musical event of the century!
