Delusional crap. Maybe some people just like to see their thoughts up there on the internet. Useless noodlings of an idle mind

^ agreed.
Some people need to get a life ... or at least, better musical taste. Surely there must be better ways to enjoy music than to fantasize about bringing a dead singer back to life.

Queen were never afraid to try new things. I would certainly be there if it was possible to create the magic once more. As well patronised by the number of posters; Freddie is dead, but his music is not. Would you have been happy if QP had stopped releasing at VHS releases? We now enjoy the vibrant sound and picture dvd and blu ray brings. Why not take the next step? Don't get so cut up about what Freddie regarded as a disposable product. " when I'm dead who cares? I certainly don't! "

I think the problem here is that Mercury Fur has no understanding of how holographic images are generated or projected.
Also why would the show be in day light. queen never played in day light unless they had no choice. Many outdoor venues have strict rules regarding performance times. In venues that didn't Queen went on stage as late as possible to take advantage of the dark. Why spend vast amounts of money on lights that you can't use.
Why would anyone buy tickets to see a projection of a singer when they can sit in comfort at home and watch the original gig on Blu Ray without the risk of being in the back row of an 80,000 capacity crowd.

As the others have said, this is completely impossible, not only from a technological standpoint, but also from a pratical and marketing standpoint - not to mention that it would be ridiculous and amateur for a band like Queen to do something of the sort. Even if the technology exists, or will soon exist, it would never be done, for the aforementioned reasons.
Nobody wants to attend a concert showing a cut and paste job of Freddie prancing around and singing from one or several old concerts, recycled for 2014, with an old Brian and Roger playing away. It would be absolutely daft. I wouldn't even entertain it as a fantasy in my head.

No more daft than the musical. I'm having a great time imagining it, actually - it'd be hilarious.

I'm quite looking forward to the new musical actually. I'm sure it will be the same sort of 'average' work which the original one was (i.e. nothing to write home about), but at least it's a less clichéd way of keeping Queen interesting than re-creating Freddie on stage.

Two points:
First: This is in "Serious discussion" (!)
Second: Like the videogames: "Winners don´t use drugs"
