Wow!! Expecting! Exciting!
I did notice that almost all re-releases appear on Freddie birthday, looks like a tradition.

Well this will be the reason Brian has hinted recently that material from early albums will be aired on the tour with AL - presumably so that people can become accustomed to it for this release.
Also, in the teaser clip of the new interview that is being aired this week in Australia, Roger is seen saying 'it just reminded me what a really heavy rock band we were'. Yes, this response could have been as a result of a from a number of questions, but my guess (hope!) is that it was a comment in reaction to him revisiting the early albums to re-learn old tracks for the tour.

forgive my ignorance, I don't quite understand what you are driving at.
I'll believe it when I see something a lot more concrete and official.
GB talked about the Rainbow release at the last convention, it should be (as he said at the time) some sort of DVD/CD combo, of all 3 Rainbow dates in 1974.

Yeah yeah we know, dude. He wrote about it there on Queenzone.
I'm excited but given past evidence of let downs over the last few years, I'll wait for official news.
I wait they don't let down this project again...

Just that if they are releasing The Rainbow gig, which doesn't really have any 'mega hits' on but does have quite a lot of early album tracks, they are possibly more likely to drop those into the current tour set to bring them to new ears to get them to be more likely to buy The Rainbow cd/DVD.
