forgive my ignorance, I don't quite understand what you are driving at.

Just that if they are releasing The Rainbow gig, which doesn't really have any 'mega hits' on but does have quite a lot of early album tracks, they are possibly more likely to drop those into the current tour set to bring them to new ears to get them to be more likely to buy The Rainbow cd/DVD.

If this is the true release date (and it's a big if) then I doubt Houston and Earls Court will follow very swiftly. I get the impression a lot of work has gone into the restoration of this package both audio and visual.

This might just be a coincidence, but today I received a copyright claim on a 3/31 Rainbow video... Could it be that these two things are connected somehow?

Noticed that just few minutes ago... most of the Rainbow footage (both from March & November) now is blocked in my country (Italy btw). This sure can't be coincidence... something bigger & official must be coming in the next weeks ;)

Hopefully it isn't completely F'D with. Sometimes I prefer the kinks. It's more honest as long as it wasn't a complete f up.

Hope they include In the lap of the God's, Son and daughter and Modern Times Rock n roll in the entirety and don't butcher the release with edits and over-dubs this time. I have the vhs release of this from the box of tricks release and it's barely a live concert it's so overdubbed.

You too? I got today also a copyright claim for that, maybe the package will include the 2 videos from the March show?
