No. Lambert is pop singer, not rock singer.

No, I can't imagine Queen having a gay lead singer.

If the songs are good......absolutely!

But with one caveat.......he can only do simultaneous backing vocals, with that volume the same or lower than Brian's and Roger's BVs.

I was fully supportive of The Cosmos Rocks and wished they worked more with Paul Rodgers. On the other hand, I like the fact that they are touring (I'm attending 6 shows), getting exposure in the U.S., etc. I don't mind Adam as he can certainly sing but I would not want them to make an album with new songs.
Why would they? It's not like Adam Lambert would be a key contributor to it. I wouldn't mind them doing a Bri+Rog album under the Queen moniker and have several guest singers and even producers, but please no "Queen + Adam" album! A Live DVD/BluRay would be great, though. They should film the Madison Square Garden show... because I'll be there, of course :).

Cosmos Rocks was a great album with instruments played by Brian & Roger.
I have no problems with an album written by B&R with Adam Lambert singing...
His performances on Glee show that he CAN sing (albeit with a fair bit of processing I suspect....)

Wow. ...oh wow!

Revisionist history! TCR is a GREAT album??

Wow.

Eh. ... It had a few moments.

I'm not certain but I suspect that Adam is mostly a contract performing artist and not a songwriter. Please make the distinction. If I'm wrong let me know.

Someone with all the fine print and know how.

I think he always sounds amazing. His performances on Glee show that he CAN sing (albeit with a fair bit of processing I suspect....) And, NO, I do not want a Queen and Al album. I want just an AL album!!

Matt Z " I'm not certain but I suspect that Adam is mostly a contract performing artist and not a songwriter. Please make the distinction. If I'm wrong let me know. " Of course he is a songwriter. He has songwriting credits on many songs on his first two albums and also on songs before he was on AI when he was in a rock band,Citizen Vein, with Monte Pittman, Madonna's guitarest and Adam's guitarist on his Glamnation Tour.
rocknrolllover wrote: No. Lambert is pop singer, not rock singer.
Please enlighten me. What about this man makes you say he is not a rock singer?? Because he doesn't have a deep, gravelly voice?? You have no idea how many ladies had to be taken away by glambulances that night. And even a few men.
